Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Execution: Proactively identify, evaluate, and execute strategic partnership opportunities aligned to our product and corporate priorities.
Partnership Strategies: Build out new partnership strategies, financial analyses, and technical product and integration plans for business development initiatives.
Partnership Materials: Lead the development of assets to communicate our strategies and partnership concepts, including well-designed pitch materials, strategy documents, mockups, and working demos where appropriate.
Negotiation & Execution: Structure and negotiate complex agreements that deliver mutual value and drive clear business outcomes for both Salesforce and our partners.
Relationship Development: Manage and grow key relationships with our partners, acting as a trusted advisor and champion for the partnership internally and externally. Represent our team's initiatives with EVP+ and C-level audiences across Salesforce and our partners.
Internal Alignment: Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and legal teams to ensure all deals are aligned with our long-term strategy, and are scalable and built for mutual success, with a focus on creating and expanding partnerships to drive continuous innovation.
Minimum Requirements:
Proven Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, corporate development, partner engineering, or strategic partnerships roles, preferably within the enterprise software, SaaS, or technology industry.
Deal-Making Expertise: A demonstrated track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing complex, high-value strategic partnerships.
Strategic Acumen: The ability to develop a clear partnership strategy and structure and analyze quantitative impacts. Strong commercial instincts combined with product knowledge and the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Exceptional Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus with both internal and external executives.

A key part of our financials suite is Workday Accounting Center, built on a powerful analytics platform to ingest, enrich, and transform high-volume business events into detailed accounting data. About the Role

This role places you at the heart of our strategy to redefine the customer experience for Workday Financials! You will first lead the Accounting Center, and after developing a deep understanding of its powerful, configurable data engine, that expertise will position you to become a key product lead partner in developing our next major innovation: a no-code Cost and Profitability Management platform. This is a rare opportunity to not just lead a high-growth product, but to use your knowledge to transform the implementation experience and empower our customers to own their solutions!
In this strategic capacity, you will solve our most significant product challenges, creating transparency from ambiguity and guiding strategy in uncharted territory. You will build and lead formal networks across the organization, uniting product groups and guiding company leaders to drive alignment on critical priorities. Applying deep customer insights, you will pioneer innovation and steer products from ideation through delivery. Furthermore, you will mentor and coach other product managers, actively up-skilling the entire team and fostering the next generation of product leaders at Workday.
About You
Basic Qualifications - Principal Product Manager
* A bachelor's degree, or at least 7 years of proven experience in a Product Management or Product Owner role, responsible for translating market needs into product deliverables through the entire product lifecycle.

Other Qualifications
* Comprehensive understanding of the reporting and analytics needs of the office of the CFO.
* Experience with Reporting or BI/Analytics tools.
* Experience defining or contributing to the strategy for managing performance and scale of a financial management suite or similar SaaS system.
* Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and drive product success.
* A sophisticated understanding of systems thinking, with the ability to predict how a change in one part of an ecosystem will impact many other parts.
* Always bring data-informed arguments to the forefront.
* Ability to inspire software developers to enthusiastically build to your roadmap.
* Deeply motivated by the enormous responsibility of ensuring scalable product and infrastructure features and able to effectively evangelize across organizations to effect change.

* Ability to define, drive, and deliver products from a blank slate, creating innovative solutions in areas with high ambiguity and no prior blueprint.
* Experience with enterprise SaaS, in-memory object graph systems, cloud architecture, and automation technologies a plus.

About the Role
In a world of evolving digital identity, securing the hybrid workforce of both human users and AI agents is paramount for our customers. We are defining and building the controls to ensure that everyone-human or machine-operates with the right permissions and has clear, transparent audit trails. In this role, you'll be on the front lines, responsible for the design and execution of products that help our customers apply Zero Trust and Least Privilege principles through the delivery of more fine-grained access controls and sophisticated governance tools.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Workday's leadership, Customers, Product Management, and Development teams to define requirements that delivers the overall access control and management strategy and roadmap
Complete AI Agent authorization strategies, proactively addressing evolving A2A (Agent-to-Agent) and MCP (Model Context Protocol) standards.
Represent the customer and be data-driven when evaluating development decisions with engineering teams through design, testing and product/feature release
Identifying platform solutions or improvements to help tackle customer problems or feedback. Own feature design documents to ensure multiple teams apply the solutions.
Bring together, prioritize, and define requirements (while actively grooming backlog) into executable epics and user stories for engineering
Build and maintain a prioritized backlog of epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, based on key collaborator requirements, and persona and use case development
About You
Basic qualifications
3+ years of product management experience
2+ years of product owner experience or working closely with product manager to translate customer and market needs into product deliverables and release support through the entire product life cycle
2+ years of experience with one or more of the following areas: access control management, authentication, or related security technologies.
Working knowledge of common compliance security regulations and standards such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, FedRAMP, etc.
Other qualifications
Ability to clearly prioritize and articulate product requirements, as well as develop a vision and strategy for area of ownership
Ability to break down complex concepts and distill requirements that meet customer needs
Self-motivated and able to take the initiative without needing a high level of supervision
Strong written and verbal communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels including customers, executives, and subject matter experts
Experience with Workday Configurable Security Framework is a plus
Experience with SaaS and/or cloud infrastructure products and services

Responsibilities & Impact

* Improve the technical content for new agentic marketing concepts to help our customers, partners, and internal teams understand and trust our products. This includes creating technical explainers, blogs, whitepapers, and other deep technical content.
