About the Role
We are hiring a Sales Professionals (Staffing | Recruiting) for an entrepreneurial full-desk role with a strong emphasis on client development, revenue generation, and relationship growth.
This is a remote, commission-only (1099) role designed for someone who wants autonomy, flexibility, and full ownership over their success. While recruiting experience helps, the right business development or sales professional can absolutely thrive here.
Although remote, we prefer candidates in the Washington, DC Metro area to stay aligned with our client base.
You will step directly into a warm, 25-year book of accounting & finance clients - a foundation that gives you a running start without building a desk from scratch.

Business Development (Primary Focus)
Re-engage and rebuild warm accounting & finance client relationships
Develop new business across the DC Metro region
Conduct discovery calls and hiring needs assessments
Present Referral Staffing's specialized staffing services
Build long-term, trust-based partnerships
Negotiate terms, expectations, and timelines
Act as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process
Recruiting & Candidate Management
Collaborate with sourcers to build strong candidate pipelines
Screen and qualify accounting & finance professionals
Present candidates with compelling summaries
Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and manage the offer process
Track and manage activity in the ATS

Summary/Objective:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build and optimize automation using Flows, validation rules, and approval processes.
Develop Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) when configuration isn't enough.
Manage integrations with core platforms such as Marketing Cloud, Workato, and FormAssembly, along with additional connected platforms (e.g., GoFundMe Pro, Firebase, MuleSoft, RealZips).
Support data quality and deduplication efforts using DataGroomr, Apsona, and related tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of Salesforce administration experience (preferably in a nonprofit or fundraising context).

Experience with Apex, SOQL, and Lightning components preferred.

Job Summary
