The position of a Software Developer will be under the specific direction by Dr. Vuk Marojevic, Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The main duties of the individual are to design, coordinate, and maintain a 5G open-source software project that will be used to conduct 5G security research, development, and testing on software radio platforms. The chosen candidate will actively participate in the design, development, and maintenance of an open-source software-defined 5G research platform. Design, architect, and develop a software-defined 5G Advanced/O-RAN research platform in collaboration with a multi-university R&D team and project stakeholders. 2. Coordinate a large software radio software project. 3. Design, develop, troubleshoot, integrate, and test software for advanced wireless communications systems and protocols. 4. Document and maintain the open-source 5G software stack and establish a framework for distributed development that facilitates external contributions. 5. Provide research reports in appropriate technical forums, including technical conferences and peer-reviewed journals. Compile technical reports for users and stakeholders. 6.
