Routes contract document for review, and obtains approval from, CAP legal counsel prior to publication or use. * With support from others, responsible for the bid opening process. Participates as the Bid Opening Officer or member of Bid Opening Boards, ensuring that bids are checked for completeness and arithmetic accuracy. Develops and publishes the Bid Abstract Report. Reviews bids for responsive and responsible criteria and prepares recommendations of the Bid Opening Board. * Makes recommendations to CAP management on various courses of action relative to contractual issues. Kitchen Associate Responsibilities: · Provide Wicked Awesome Customer Service (WACS) to our customers each day by greeting them with a smile and assisting with their food inquiries when necessary. · Prepare and cook all food items according to menu specifications. · Ensure all food items are properly labelled and stored to maintain freshness and quality. · Train and mentor new team members on proper food handling and preparation techniques. · Assists in receiving, placing, monitoring, and replenishing foodservice items as needed. · Identifies and communicates foodservice operational opportunities to Store Management staff. · Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation. · Work with the Kitchen Manager to understand and execute proper deli food preparation, schematics, par sheets, replenishment, and storage procedures. · Ensure high quality standard of food items from preparation to point of sale. · Safely operate kitchen equipment and cutlery. · Completes shift paperwork, build-to and order guides as needed. * Job responsibilities may change at any time due to business needs. Skills and Competencies: · Effective verbal and written communication skills. · Friendly and energetic personality with guest service focus · Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and attention to detail. · Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner. · Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others. · Availability to work flexible shifts. · Ratings of assigned store, via Mystery Shopper and other independent store evaluation programs. Requirements · High School Diploma or G.E.D. · Preferred 1 year of experience in food service restaurant or at the C-Store of QSR level. · Achieving ServSafe level 1 Certification · Must be able to work with minimum amount of supervision under stressful conditions.
