Alison Hiatt's LinkedIn

A senior marketing executive with diverse consumer retail & services experience with high-growth, category-leading brands including Banfield Pet Hospitals (Mars, Inc.), Amazon.com, Starbucks, REI and Hanna Andersson. With a growth mindset, infectious energy and strong leadership skills I’ve created a track record of growing sales, products, teams and brands. A rare combination of someone that effectively balances the art of branding with the science of consumer data ~ feeling comfortable anywhere on that continuum.

At work, I am known for creating strong team dynamics while driving impactful results having fun along the way. In my off hours, I love to seize the day with dogs, documentaries (I’ve made a two!), corny jokes, shopping and a good sweat outdoors.

Pros of working at Salt & Straw

People can be fun. Ice cream is good

Cons of working at Salt & Straw

Corporate treats the actual workers horribly and HR does everything they possibly can to deny accomodations for health issues and disabilities. The managers don't do any actual work on the floor they just hide at their desk all day and won't lift a finger to help their employees so everyone can succeed. It's as if they took all the worst parts of how Starbucks corporate runs things and dialed it up to 11
