Job Description Medical Assistant We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team. Your job will be to provide welcoming care to our patients. We offer: $20.50 to $27.00 per hr. Qualifications What you need to be qualified for this job: The ability to work with people from all walks of life and to meet them in their place of need Current Medical Assistant Certificate A Medical Assistant not certified/registered upon hire is required to complete the Medical Assistant certification/registration testing within 3 months of hire. If an employee does not pass, they will be given an additional 3 months to retake the test. All Medical Assistants must be certified within 6 months of hire and certification must be maintained throughout employment. Medical Assistants without any formal Medical Assistant training are required to have a current Certification/Registration as a Medical Assistant. Please Note: This position REQUIRES a Medical Assistant (MA) Certification. A CNA certification is NOT equivalent to a Medical Assistant certification and cannot be accepted for this position. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required Successful completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program, a minimum of 6 months in length, preferred.
