This FULL TIME ROLE has varied shifts that may include evenings and weekends with an annual salary range of $43,888.00 to $47,840.00 Duties And Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities Provide in-home crisis-oriented treatment, education and support to family units where one or more family members may be placed outside the home in foster, group, or institutional care or, be at-risk of being removed from the home. Provide a range of interventions to children, adults, and families, using acceptable treatment methodologies consistent with the Family Preservation best practice model. Actively participate as a member of team meetings; keep all members informed of case status and progress; provide oral and written reports as needed and make recommendations about case goals, alternative service plans, action steps and activities for treatment plans. Assist clients to clearly define presenting problems, devise methods and goals for resolution, assess their progress toward treatment goals and plan termination. Present cases to supervisor for review of treatment plans and progress on a regularly scheduled basis. Provide appropriate referrals for clients requiring additional or alternative services. Assume therapeutic responsibility for all cases on assigned caseload; conduct intake, assessment and scheduling of all assigned clients. Collaborate with referral sources, agencies, institutions and individuals who have important roles in the family's life situation. Provide advocacy and professional consultation work with the referring organization, schools, court, and other social service agencies as needed. Complete client follow up at intervals as outlined. Complete and maintain all reports, statistics and assignments as required. Enter all required data in required systems in a timely manner. Participate in all required training and effectively implement learned skills. Qualifications Job Qualifications Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification Requires a minimum of Bachelor degree in any human service field or education, OR Two years' experience working with children and/or families and an associate degree or the equivalent in human services or education and be actively working towards a bachelor degree in human services or education will be considered. Experience Field experience working with multi-problem children and families with ability to relate to and engage with these families preferred. Experience in strength-based, family-centered, solution focused approaches beneficial. Additional Work Requirements Participation in a system of 24-hour availability to families as required. Weekend and evening hours required. Duties and Responsibilities Perform a range of office and customer service functions in accordance with the Affordable Living property, the Affordable Living division and contractual requirements. Perform receptionist and clerical duties including but not limited to answering phones, sorting mail, faxing, scanning documents in computer, preparing resident correspondence, maintaining/inventorying supplies and making bank deposits. Assist with leasing functions including respond to inquiries, provide information, conduct apartment tours, assuring forms/applications are complete and accurate. Assist Property Manager with applicant background checks and welcoming residents to the community. Process HUD forms and rental payments utilizing program software; maintain appropriate records/files for resident leases and rent payments. Assist Manager in resolving resident concerns and complaints; maintain appropriate documentation and assure follow-up with resident. Maintain filing and organization relevant to office functions. Assist Manager in performing apartment inspections and move-ins. Manage calendars, schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments as necessary. Scan invoices and enter data into the voucher system for payment. Manage the property in the absence of the Property Manager for short periods of time. Qualifications Job Qualifications Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification High school diploma or equivalent required; additional business courses preferred. Prior experience in affordable housing practices is preferred. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Ability to apply principles of commonsense.
