2004 Good Samaritan Ministries starts the Faith In Youth Partnership with AmeriCorps, mentoring at-risk middle school youth in the Holland/Zeeland community.
2005 Points of Light Foundation and FASTEN identify Good Samaritan Ministries as one of the top 25 faith-based intermediaries that fosters bridge-building partnerships with local faith and community-based organizations, government agencies, foundations, and other partners.
2009 Good Samaritan Ministries organizes the Holland Flood Relief Task Force to help households affected by the flash flooding to have a safe, warm environment.
2009 The Community Housing Partnership receives an award from the Michigan Campaign to End Homelessness in recognition of demonstrated quality and effective practices in services to people that are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Oregon’s 2011 Health Transformation Bill created opportunities to integrate care for Oregon Health Plan members within Coordinated Care Organizations.
2013 Good Samaritan Ministries becomes the first Circles® site in the state of Michigan.
2016 The Faith In Youth Partnership expands to include mentoring for high school aged youth and a greater region along the lakeshore.
2018 In collaboration with Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity, Good Samaritan Ministries broke ground on the State Street Townhomes, an affordable, 4-plex development in Holland Township.
2020 In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, an Eviction Diversion Program was launched to ensure hundreds of families would not lose their homes.
