There will be opportunities to influence the direction of the product roadmap and sales & marketing organization.Responsibilities Act as thought partner on behalf of Samba with industry leading agencies and brands as they look to evolve their TV, Video, and Marketing strategies through more effective use of data. Sell SambaTV's suite of advertising and TV research/analytics solutions to Fortune 100 brand advertisers and their agencies. Prospect, qualify, close and scale revenue-generating relationships with advertisers and agencies within a territory or vertical Persuasively communicate Samba TV's offerings and unique value-proposition to advertisers and agencies via email, phone and in-person presentations and discussion. Collaborate with account management to deliver proposals that exceed advertiser and agency marketing objectives and expectations. Develop and maintain relationships at all personnel levels within agencies and brands, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the account's organization, needs and revenue potential Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas against the territory and account list Work with cross-functional teams internally to ensure campaign success and growth of partnerships. Help develop local marketing initiatives and participate in industry events, ultimately becoming a regional knowledge leader on cross-platform ad synchronization and retargeting. Requirements Demonstrated ability to perform against quota and excel in a highly competitive market Currently requiring 3 days a week on-site in office, with a possibility of increasing in the future. Bachelor's Degree Proven sales success with a minimum of 3+ years total experience in advertising, digital media, mobile or internet technology sales. Strong relationships at the most senior levels of leading agency holding and operating companies Demonstrated strategic, consultative and analytical sales approach with focus on building partnerships with clients Customer-focused leadership with excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills Willingness to travel to outside markets Knowledge of the TV/online/mobile advertising industry and data a plus Willingness to entertain clients during evenings and occasionally weekends Strong references with partners, customers and colleagues Existing, current relationships with media buying decision makers favored Samba TV expects to offer a base salary between $85,000 - $120,000 per year for roles to be performed in New York or California; actual base salary offered will depend on various factors, including but not limited to, location, experience, and performance. Base salary is just one component of Samba TV's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, short-term incentives, and long-term incentives. As a Programmatic Account Manager at Samba TV, you'll manage and grow relationships with agency and brand direct clients, ensuring they derive maximum value from Samba's suite of audience targeting solutions. You'll work closely with Sales to support key accounts, drive audience activation strategies, and deliver a seamless client experience across the campaign lifecycle. Your efforts will directly impact client satisfaction, retention, and account growth. Requirements: must live within 50 miles of a Samba Office in NYC, or CHI. Required in office 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday) with a possibility of increasing in the future. Requirements: Client Growth, Retention & Satisfaction Own day-to-day account management for a portfolio of brand direct & agency clients & partners Partner with Sales to develop strategic account plans, drive renewals, and identify upsell opportunities Ensure clients are effectively activating Samba TV audience and contextual data across all major DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, and Social Platforms Build trusted relationships with stakeholders through proactive communication and white-glove service Lead business reviews focused on performance, delivery, and expansion opportunities Campaign & Platform Execution Oversee campaign setup and audience segment delivery across SSP and programmatic buying platforms Support clients through the full campaign lifecycle: planning, audience building, activation, and QA Provide platform education and training on how to request, build, and deploy Samba TV audiences Troubleshoot segment delivery issues and coordinate with technical teams to resolve activation challenges Strategic Partnership & Cross-Functional Collaboration Serve as a feedback loop between clients and internal teams to improve ease of activation and audience performance Partner with Sales on pre-sale planning, platform demos, and aligning client goals with audience solutions Represent Samba's audience products with subject-matter expertise and a client-centric approach Collaborate with Product, Measurement, Revenue Operations, and Finance to deliver enhanced solutions Who you are: Curious - Always learning, humble when you don't know something, and eager to improve Proactive - You see opportunity in every challenge and work fast to deliver value to clients Collaborative - You're a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment What you bring: 3-5 years of experience in account management, client services, or programmatic strategy roles Deep knowledge of audience activation and programmatic buying across DSPs (e.g., The Trade Desk, DV360, Yahoo DSP) Solid working knowledge of DMPs (e.g., LiveRamp, Lotame, Adform) as well as SSPs (e.g., OpenX, Magnite, Freewheel) Experience working with agencies and brand-direct clients to deliver audience solutions Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive, collaborative approach CRM and project management tool proficiency (Salesforce, Jira, Asana, Trello, etc.) Strong Excel skills (SUMIFS, INDEX MATCH, pivot tables, VLOOKUP); SQL is a plus Deep understanding of the digital advertising and programmatic ecosystem BA/BS with a focus on marketing, business, data, or related experience Samba TV expects to offer a base salary between $80,000 - $90,000 USD per year for roles to be performed in New York City or California; actual base salary offered will depend on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
