Primary Objective:
Maintains a sample inventory and ships samples to customers thereby maximizing sales representatives' time with customers.
Major Function and Scope
Processes daily orders for samples. Receives and puts away tile samples. Picks and prepares tile samples for shipment to customers, sales reps and SSC's. May assist Sample Express Specialist to create tile sample boards and ship samples. Advises supervisor when sample supplies are low. Assists in setting up sample work area, which includes building racking, shelves and creating labels. Keeps sample area clean and well organized. Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management. Performs other duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
High school diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Forklift Operator. No general warehouse experience required.
Competencies:
Excellent communication and customer service skills. Basic math and computer skills. Detail oriented, fluency in English, and safety conscious. Ability to work independently and solve problems.

Purpose
Responsible for the conversion of raw materials into samples needed to support the fulfillment of eCommerce sample sales and the FDX ship-to-store sample replenishment program.
Responsible for the replenishment of converted samples into the designated picking areas for eCommerce and FDX.
Essential Functions
Key activities and duties are listed below, but additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified according to business needs.
Conversion tasks: Process the conversion of raw materials into samples according to the supplied logs and/or system directed tasks. Responsible for accurately recording the yield quantities utilizing the RF scanning/data capture devices and/or providing the inventory team the completed logs to capture the exchange of raw material into samples Labeling tasks: Generate and apply labels to all newly converted samples Wrapping of packs for FDX samples using the heat seal machine Replenish/Put away all newly converted samples into their permanent racking locations in the eCommerce and FDX designated slots/bins Operates handling and wood/tile cutting equipment and ensures safety regulations and company policy are followed Must cross-train in the fulfillment function and support the fulfillment process when workload or demand requires it as determined by the leadership team Performs other general warehouse duties as needed
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
