EVS Attendant
As a Team Member of the EVS team, the EVS Attendant is a CRCR Ambassador and takes personal ownership to ensure all of their actions are in the best interest of the business. The EVS Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness and overall condition of assigned areas, including duties assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
Position Functions
Essential Functions
• Remove trash and recycling from all receptacles properly and dispose at their designated locations.
• Operate trash and cardboard compactors following the Standard Operating Guidelines (SOG).
• General cleaning and sanitizing of all areas in the front-of-house and back-of-house of CRCR, including off-site locations , as necessary.
• Dust and sanitize furniture and equipment (slot bases and chairs, stanchions, information signs, etc.).
• Follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving objects and materials and/or the clean-up of blood, infectious materials, or body fluids containing blood in accordance with the OSHA Blood-borne Pathogen Standard and the Exposure Control Plan for Blood-borne Pathogens.
• Notify management of needed repairs, additions, and/or safety concerns.
• Provide observation and reporting for security purposes in restrooms as necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all gaming machines and chairs, card tables, and non-gaming areas in a sanitary condition. Cleans and maintains stairwells, elevators, and escalators, including arranging furniture such as chairs and tables (within the area of responsibility).
• Maintain stock of cleaning materials and equipment needed to complete duties.
• Restock EVS storage areas and notify management of supplies needed or equipment requiring maintenance.
• Keep all chemicals in assigned areas with proper labels according to the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are utilized per the manufacturer's instructions.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including general sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing of floors, furniture, and fixtures.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work.
• Inspect and maintain assigned custodial equipment and small tools for proper operating conditions.
• Operate necessary vehicles for traveling to conduct cleaning tasks, which may include industrial trucks, vans, or industrial vacuum cleaners.
• Mix cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties as necessary.
• Assist Team Members and Guests by engaging/providing Guest service when possible.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Schedules
Weather, snow conditions and the number of guests play a large role in the work scheduling of Bear Valley employees.
When conditions are normal, you may be expected to work 40 up to 48 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. During busy periods – especially the holiday periods in December and the months of January and February – you may be expected to work six (6) days a week.
You must arrange for transportation to work so that you arrive at your designated workstation at the scheduled time. Keep in mind that you will often be required to drive on hilly, snow packed, and icy road.

* Prior experience working with children who have experienced trauma
* Bilingual preferred
* Ability to work with a variety of people from all racial cultural and social-economic backgrounds
* Ability to work with people in crisis
* Ability to work in close coordination with other staff members government agencies and community organizations
* Be flexible and adaptable to change
* Ability to express and exchange ideas effectively
* Ability to facilitate groups and possess basic public speaking skills
* Represent The Resource Connection ethically and treat clients with professionalism
* Remain in a seated position for up to eight hours and move about office to perform duties
* Lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
* Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of current automobile coverage at state minimum
* Willingness to work irregular hours, attend night meetings and travel as required by the organization
* Criminal record clearance
