Processes and distributes specimens to the testing areas of the lab. Prepares specimens for referral to reference labs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: One year previous venipuncture experience in an acute care facility is preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Employee must demonstrate age specific competencies for the specific work area in which the employee works and cares for patients. License and Certifications: CDPH - California State certification required. Equipment: Specimen collection devices, Computer, Centrifuge. Courier Duties Pick up and deliver samples from clients, project sites, and field staff in a timely and professional manner.
