MINIMUMREQUIREMENTS
* Associate's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field from an institution accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
* Six years of progressively responsible Industrial, Water or Wastewater experience.
* Three years of experience in a management or supervisory capacity.
* Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

Provides training to 100% of the units assigned to the installation. The training shall include domestic abuse prevention, identification of child and spouse abuse, the dynamics of family violence, the resources available to prevent and treat domestic abuse and the Army's policy regarding family violence.
Provides anger management and stress management class each month using a government provided outline and update these class outlines to ensure they are current.
Provides briefings about the services available to the participants of groups such as the Family Readiness Groups upon request. Couple Reintegration Training is specific training provided to returning troops to educate the Soldier about the challenges faced when returning home from theater and after the return of the Soldier from deployment.
Facilitates sessions of classes including but not limited to: Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program, Parenting with Love-n-Logic, Practical Application for Intimate Relationships (PAIRS), Scream Free Marriage, and Scream Free Parenting.
Plans and participates in activities during the special-emphasis months of April (Child Abuse Prevention Month) and October (Domestic Violence Awareness Month). Field Communications & SCADA Technician

Brazos Electric is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Communications & SCADA Technician to join our team supporting critical transmission system technology across our cooperative.
What You'll Do
• Install, commission, test, and maintain SCADA, EMS, and networking equipment including RTUs, IEDs, routers, switches, AMI/DA systems, and substation automation platforms.
• Support and repair telecommunications systems such as Ethernet and TDM microwave, GPRS, two-way radio, power line carrier, and unlicensed wireless.
• Install and maintain fiber-optic systems, power line carrier equipment, line tuners, and protective relaying circuits.
• Perform maintenance at communications sites-generators, ATS units, battery banks, HVAC, security systems, dehydrators, and tower lighting.
• Keep firmware and software updated across SCADA, microwave, network, and testing devices.
• Prepare and maintain test reports, configuration files, and field redline drawings.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, FCC, and NERC maintenance and documentation requirements.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for emergency and unscheduled system support.
• Work closely with engineering, operations, member cooperatives, vendors, and circuit providers.

BASIC FUNCTION:
Provide geological support services for all delineation and wellfield development activities including identification and interpretation of mineralization, logging samples, resources and reserve estimation, map generation. The position will report to the field location and will report directly to the Development Manager, on a day-to-day basis. The position is a full-time position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interpret geology to prepare, review and update geological maps, cross sections or other geological data to provide effective input for the management of company's properties. Work should support recommendations for leasing, drilling, hole placement and completion.
Perform daily field work including observation of drilling activities, sample collection, logging of samples, characterization and evaluation of samples, and staking of drill holes.
Conduct geological evaluation of drill hole data as well as working with the engineering and drilling personnel to coordinate an effective, efficient drilling program.
Prepare geological exhibits for presentation at management meetings, regulatory hearings and as support for budgetary planning.
As needed, provide evaluations for potential projects, acquisitions and divestitures.
Properly operate Global Position System equipment in the field and office for file transfers to identify and stake prospective drill locations.
Maintain geological records in an orderly manner including but not limited to electronic databases, plugging and abandonment records, logs, field notes, lithologic evaluations, and maps.
Accept individual responsibility and accountability for HSE processes within his/her control, his/her personal safety, and the safety of coworkers.
Promptly correct or report potential workplace hazards.

Requirements
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geoscience, or Geophysical sciences.
Possess a valid Texas Driver's License.
Read, write, and speak fluently in English.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally with other employees.
Understand and follow safety rules and Company policies.
Work requires demonstrated geoscience skills and the ability to understand "abstract" principles.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD /ArcGIS and Microsoft Office computer programs.
One to three years of uranium geology experience preferred.

Meter Technician

Job purpose
To provide reliable testing, calibration, and maintenance of all types of meters and meter equipment.
Duties and responsibilities
Test, service, maintain, and calibrate all meters, instruments, transformers, and metering equipment with supervision, as needed
Accurately follow instructions for testing and programming all meters by ANSI and RGEC standards using computer driven calibration equipment
Thoroughly clean and repair meters with increasing skill and proficiency
Record and maintain all meters that are tested and repaired
Ensure all meters are properly sealed after testing
Train in the installation of instrument metering equipment
Ability to differentiate single-phase and 3-phase metering above 200 Amps
Ability to wire sockets for single-phase and 3-phase mounted meters with increasing skill and proficiency
Assist with assembly of primary metering equipment
Operate and maintain tools and equipment
Maintain all tools and equipment in accordance with instructions and designated purpose
Assist technical services technicians with logging field data and other duties as needed
Accurately inventory metering equipment in the shop
Learn and comply with Cooperative's safety rules and procedures.

Responsible for the scheduling of repair, maintenance, and installation of power lines both above and underground and the installation of transformers and meters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrate mastery and continue duties of Apprentice 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Safely construct, replace, repair, and perform maintenance of electric distribution lines, structures, and equipment.
Investigate trouble on lines and locate cause of power outages.
Install, repair, and perform maintenance of underground cables.
Install meter and transformer pads.
Install and disconnect meters.
Install and maintain security lighting.
Assist in digging and tamping pole holes; load, unload, set and remove poles.
Conduct line patrol activities and report maintenance needs, as necessary.
Must be able to operate vehicles and heavy equipment including line trucks, boom trucks, underground trenchers, and digger trucks, and other associated equipment in a safe and proficient manner.
Set up and remove barricades, flags, and signs for traffic control and work zone protection in compliance with safety procedures at all job sites.
Operate and maintain transportation equipment, tools, and working equipment is in proper condition, and reports deficiencies or repairs needed.
Ensure all tools, equipment, and unused materials are returned and replaced on vehicles after the completion of a job or the day's work.
Must be able to report to work within 20 minutes of being notified that services are required when performing stand-by duties or when additional services are required.
Responsible for compliance with the Cooperative's safety rules, safety policies, and safety procedures.
Provide training and supervision to other members of the line crew, especially in the absence of the Foreman and Lead Lineman.
Demonstrate regular and prompt attendance.
In addition to these responsibilities, may be assigned by the District Operations Supervisor to perform other duties.
Education:
High school diploma, or equivalent. Successful completion of DOL program requirements for Journeyman Lineman. Completion of advanced lineman training/lineman certification required. Must possess or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
Experience:
Eight to ten years' experience in electric utility distribution operations, including distribution system construction and maintenance is required.
Job Knowledge:
Must possess knowledge of RUS line specifications, National Electric Code, National Electric Safety Code, and OSHA Rules and Regulations. Prior experience in basic technical utility knowledge is required.
Abilities and Skills:
Must possess a valid Texas CDL (class A) license with a good driving record.
Must be able to communicate in English, both in written and oral forms with the general public and co-workers.
Must be able to climb poles of all types and perform required jobs while on poles.
Must possess skills and abilities to perform all required jobs with the installation of materials, apparatus, and equipment used in the construction and maintenance of electric distribution lines.
Must be able to operate equipment including bucket trucks, digger trucks, and other related equipment.
Must be able to proficiently operate all electronic devices issued to employees including, but not limited to iPads and computers.

Working Environment:
This job operates in a field environment. This role routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting in awkward positions. The majority of the work schedule will be performed traveling to and working at various field locations within the service territory each day. The individual must be willing to work in all adverse and inclement weather conditions, including help with service restoration during storms. Overtime may be required at times of heavy workload.
