Under supervision and direction of a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or physician, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting Family Care Providers that treat all ages from 0-100; performing nursing duties within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act for vocational nursing, in the care of patients in the Department of Mental Health or Public Health Ambulatory Family Health Center, as well as, operating a county van to support the mobile clinic; and perform other related duties as required. This position will involve making home visits for case management and contact investigations, assisting with disease outbreak surveillance, providing TB screenings, and managing and educating individuals diagnosed with tuberculosis.
