Remote Medical Scribe
Have you ever wanted to work side-by-side with robots towards a common goal that isn't world domination? Have medical or scribe experience? Then do we have a job for you!
PedictionHealth is a fast growing healthcare technology startup with a mission of making it easier for clinicians to provide better care to every patient. In order to do this, we have teams of medical scribes that have a direct impact on patient care by assisting our providers with what they enjoy the least: documentation. Our providers are able to look their patients in the eyes and truly be present so they can deliver exceptional quality care.
If you are interested in being part of this mission, we are hiring for remote medical scribes. In this role, you will be assigned to a provider and have a direct impact on improving the patient experience and the well being of your clinician. You will be empowered with the skills you need for success. This role involves listening to provider and patient interactions and capturing the details in an organized structure. You will also be invited to participate in testing new AI features that will enable us to extend our reach to more providers and their patients.

This role is a great fit for someone who:
Has excellent written communication skills.
Medical documentation requires excellent use of English grammar, including proper sentence structure, punctuation, and spelling.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
There are daily deadlines to meet in order to deliver exceptional service for our customers. As a fast-growing startup, there are also a lot of moving parts to keep us on track for our biggest year of growth. This translates to opportunities to learn and grow with us.
Is able to work independently.
We are a 100% remote company, but we do our best to make sure no one feels like they are just another person working at a desk. Most of the work for our scribes is independently done; however, there are amazing teams in place and plenty of opportunities to connect.
Loves to learn and research.
We have amazing and paid in-house training, so no scribe experience is necessary. While working on medical notes, there is often new and unfamiliar terminology that the average person does not know. When starting out, it is encouraged to use research skills to understand the terminology and to ensure our notes are as professional and medically sound as possible.
Is comfortable with providing and receiving feedback.
One of our frequently used quotes is “Feedback is a gift.” We feel that providing and receiving feedback is fuel for our development both personally and as a company.
Pays attention to details.
Because these are real conversations that we are working with, the information may be a little scattered at times. Our part in organizing the information is extracting the pertinent information from the conversation and organizing it into the proper categories. The notes we put together are a page in the patient's medical history, so the details should all be present and accurate.
Is eager to grow.
We love to promote internally for any open positions. Most of our leaders in the company started out as medical scribes and were promoted into their positions.
20-30 hours minimum, flexible scheduling as long as deadlines are met.
$14 hourly + exciting employee rewards program through Nectar.
