People With Disabilities Foundation (PWDF) is a small nonprofit agency located in San Francisco which focuses on equal access for clients with psychiatric, developmental and/or neurological disabilities. Other duties as requested. Qualifications The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, highly organized, and will possess the ability to work and communicate in diverse communities. Must be reliable, flexible and able to work within deadlines e.g., work with bookkeeper, program managers, other attorneys and paralegals. Proficient computer skills required, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Job Description Under general supervision, Protective Service Workers perform professional investigation, case management, and casework services at the Family & Children's Services program. This includes activities related to: engagement of children, youth and families; assessment of safety and risk; case planning and service delivery; and transitioning children and families to appropriate permanent and stable living situations.
