Reporting to the Director of Health Services, the Health Services Coordinator is responsible for checking in and out students receiving services in Health Services. The Coordinator also educates students on eligibility, available services, portal access, required paperwork, and informed consent when accessing care through the Student Wellness Center. This position supports departmental operations by updating daily schedules to accommodate staffing or call-out changes, assisting with service promotion, and supporting data collection activities for the Health Services unit. The Health Services Coordinator also serves as a liaison with the Care Experience Team and assists with scheduling follow-up appointments and supporting case management functions as time and workflow allow.
Key Responsibilities
Check in and check out students receiving services within Health Services
Educate students on eligibility, service types, portal access, and required paperwork
Support department operations by updating daily schedules and responding to call-outs
Assist with limited service promotion and data collection activities for Health Services
Serve as liaison with the Care Experience Team within the Student Wellness Center
Schedule follow-up appointments and support case management functions as time allows

* Ensure BASW and MSW intern development and progression in alignment with the Council on Social Work Education's core competencies and the CSULB School of Social Work Practicum Department's expectations
* Provide site-based supervision, interventions, and consultation at select locations of the B&GCLB working directly with youth affected by anxiety and depression and its many manifestations
* Establish and maintain collaborative communication with key stakeholders from the Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD), the B&GCLB, and the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS), including the School of Social Work
* Provide administrative oversight to ensure the successful functioning of the SYR program, including consulting with Practicum Instructors from LBUSD, creating annual budgets, and managing expenses with School of Social Work and CHHS administrative teams
* Complete reports for key stakeholders at regular intervals throughout the academic year, present information on the SYR program to key stakeholders at collaborative meetings, and organize students and Practicum Instructors to participate in these presentations
* Schedule interviews with prospective BASW and MSW interns, arrange for them to be processed at their respective sites, and complete all Practicum Education paperwork to accept them into the SYR program
* Partner with an identified evaluation team to ensure pre- and post-test data is gathered, approvals from LBUSD and the B&GCLB are secured annually, and year-end evaluation reports are completed

Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in a related field, including or supplemented by upper division or graduate course work in counseling techniques, interviewing, and conflict resolution where such are job-related.

Project IMPACT (PI) and Project Veterans Thrive (PVT), both Student Support Services (SSS) programs, are funded through the TRIO division of the U.S. Department of Education. These SSS programs are five-year grants (2025-2030), separately renewable annually. They provide undergraduate students with disabilities (PI) and veteran students (PVT) non-mandated support services, including academic advising, career planning, subject specific tutoring, scholarship guidance, graduate school advising, personal wellness counseling, assistive technology training, academic and personal skills building workshops, and financial aid and personal finance education support.
The purpose of these programs is to provide services to increase GPAs, and retention and graduation rates for each student population. Under the general direction of the Principal Investigator, the Program Coordinator is responsible for implementing and monitoring all mandated services under both programs, as well as providing direct service support in the above-referenced areas. The Program Coordinator will monitor the budget and ensure all program activities remain within grant mandated limits; ensure all policies and procedures are followed as outlined in Federal and State regulations, as well as University guidelines in daily operations and decisions; conduct workshops in the areas of academic skills building, personal finance, financial aid, wellness, and assistive technology as mandated by the approved grant; and maintain all data, records and reports required by the grant programs, including the Annual Performance Report, Annual Student Survey, and graduation/retention reports. Additionally, the Program Coordinator will be fully trained and attend updated sessions on grant reporting and documentation requirements under EDGAR, Americans with Disabilities Act, and other areas to ensure students have complete and full access to all University programmatic facilities and services. This is a full-time, temporary, grant-funded position, with the possibility of annual reappointment.
Responsibilities
Program Coordination
* Independently coordinate the programs, collaborating with Accessibility Services (AS) and Veteran Student Services' (VSS) Director as needed.
* Initiate processes to track day-to-day operational needs of the programs, coordinating and following up with other campus departments as needed. Problem solve complex situations affecting the day-to-day operations of the programs, in compliance with grant mandates.
* Maintain all confidential participant records, including participants' eligibility records as required under TRIO guidelines.
* Lead Blumen database development, maintenance and staff training as needed.
* Monitor the programs' progress towards the objectives and key performance indicators outlined in their respective grant proposals, including all program participants' retention and graduation rates.
* Attend trainings as required in the grants, and as needed, to remain current on TRIO regulations and to maintain compliance.
* Relay regulation updates to programs' staff and AS/VSS Director.
* Maintain all data and records required by the grant programs and prepare and submit the Annual Performance Report (APR) for both programs. Provide other ad hoc reports as required or requested by qualified Federal, State or University authorities.
* Oversee and update respective computer labs to ensure compliance with all mandates and laws under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.

Team Leader
* Recruit, hire, train and provide lead work direction to program student assistants.

* Create agendas and lead weekly staff meetings for both programs' staff, separately and jointly, when needed.
Collaborate with other Departments and Stakeholders
* Communicate with Department of Education's Program Officer on issues related to compliance with TRIO regulations, Grant Award Notifications (GAN), and receive direct communication regarding program updates.
* Consult with other TRIO colleagues as needed and make recommendations to AS/VSS Director.
* Serve as the liaison with the AS/VSS offices, EXCEL, EOP, Career Engagement Center, Financial Aid, and other student support service areas under the program.
* Represent both programs when appropriate at campus events and outreach opportunities, as required by TRIO regulations.
* Coordinate with all campus departments such as Facilities Management, AS, VSS, Environmental Health and Safety, Information Technology Solutions, Assistive Technology office, University Police Department and other areas on campus to ensure safety and operational management of all program spaces.
* Attend all AS/VSS staff meetings to communicate program updates, including the current status of the programs in meeting their respective goals and objectives.
* Inform AS/VSS Director immediately of program participants at risk of harm to self or others, or with any other areas of concern. Submit CARE reports as appropriate.
Specialized Administrative Functions
* Develop proposed annual budgets and budget narratives for each program.
* Submit proposed budgets and budget narratives, as directed, to the Department of Education's Program Officer each year of the grant cycle.
* Reconcile monthly budgets with Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) to ensure compliance with TRIO regulations for spending. Make suggestions regarding revisions to the proposed budget to the Director of AS/VSS to ensure efficient use of federal funds.
Support for Program Participants
* As needed, support the Academic Success Advisors in creating Individual Support Plans (ISP) for student participants to promote a holistic academic and personal life balance.
* Meet with participants individually to address goals as stated above, coaching students through academic skill development, as needed.
* Support the Academic Success Advisors, when needed, to reevaluate and adjust support for individual students at risk of not meeting persistence and graduation goals.
* Collaborate with Academic Success Advisors to create, organize and deliver content-driven workshops to program participants in relevant content areas.
* May provide direct tutoring to a program participant when a tutor is unable to be secured in this same subject.
Minimum Qualifications
* Entry to this classification requires general knowledge and skills in the applicable administrative and/or program field with a foundational knowledge of public administration principles, practices, and methods.
* This foundation would normally be obtained through a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs.
Required Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience working with veterans and military affiliated individuals.

Department Information
The Native American College is the first of its kind on a California State University Campus and will be housed at Sacramento State. Students will submit applications to Cal State Apply. After acceptance into Sacramento State, they will submit a subsequent application to the Native American College. Students will enter the Native American College either as first-year or transfer students and/or junior year. General Education courses, when possible, will be mapped out to encourage students to enter classes as a cohort. All students will minor in Native American Studies, with an emphasis on Native American leadership. The students may select any major that the University offers and into which they are accepted.
The Native American College will provide career and leadership-focused activities and training for the professional development necessary for success both within and outside of Native American communities at the local, state, and national levels. Student support services will be easily accessed through the Native American College to provide a more fluid pathway through the university. Students will collaborate with their peers through the cohort model, thus creating support systems with the potential to become lifetime networks and resources. Preparing students within a Native context for a successful future is a primary goal of the Native American College.

Job Summary
Reporting to and under general supervision of the Associate Dean of Academic Programs, the Coordinator, First- and Second-Year Transition (FAST) Programs performs highly complex professional student services work in support of assisting students in making successful progress toward their degree objectives and supplementing learning experiences within the classroom. The incumbent utilizes a combination of high-level analytical skills and high-level interpersonal skills in working on complex problems from the investigation and analysis stage through the solution and implementation stage. Specifically, the incumbent coordinates the development, design and implementation of First- and Second-Year Transition Programs and supports administrative planning including the recruitment, training, advising and supervision of student leaders, as well as developing and executing creative solutions for educational initiatives in First- and Second-Year Transition Programs. The incumbent also collaborates with leadership and staff in Strategic Enrollment and Student Affairs to plan activities that support registration and orientation of first-time first-year students.
Key Qualifications
This position requires the equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in a related field plus upper division or graduate coursework in counseling techniques, interviewing and conflict resolution where such are job related. Possession of these knowledge and abilities is typically demonstrated through the equivalent to four years of progressively responsible professional student services work experience which includes experience in advising students individually and in groups, and in analysis and resolution of complex student services problems. A master's degree in higher education administration, student affairs, organizational development or a job‑related field may be substituted for one year of professional experience. A doctorate degree and the appropriate internship or clinical training in counseling, guidance or a job‑related field may be substituted for two years of the required professional experience for positions with a major responsibility for professional, personal or career counseling. Experience working as either an academic advisor or teaching undergraduate students preferred. Intermediate proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. Knowledge of Google Suite and PeopleSoft preferred.
Salary and Benefits
Starting salary placement depends on qualifications and experience and is anticipated to be in the range of $6,320 to $6,572 a month. This is a full time, exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.
This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. Job Summary
Reporting to and under general direction of the University Registrar, the Transfer Credit, Transcripts and Clearinghouse Professional performs complex professional student services work specific to interpreting, applying and posting transfer credits according to state, system and local regulations. The incumbent serves as one of the primary campus liaisons with the National Student Clearinghouse, submitting reports, correcting errors, and assuring accuracy between the Clearinghouse and National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS). One year in the program area to which assigned may be preferred but is not required. Intermediate proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required. Salary and Benefits
This is a full time, exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period. Starting salary placement depends on qualifications and experience and will not exceed $5,540 a month.

San José State University is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and student-focused Admissions Program Specialist to join the Undergraduate Admissions and Outreach team. This position plays a critical role in expanding online access to higher education, particularly for working adult learners and students from historically underserved communities. Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Undergraduate Admissions, and with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Associate Director, the incumbent independently performs complex admissions-related functions in support of SJSU Online, a key initiative of Enrollment Management.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison to SJSU Online Enrollment Counselors, handling all prospective and applicant inquiries
Evaluate and verify applications, transcripts, and supporting documents to determine eligibility for admission
