Reporting to the Director, Employee and Labor Relations, the Manager, Employee and Labor Relations serves as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on complex workplace investigations, labor relations and grievance management. Leads a team of HR professionals responsible for the resolution of sensitive employee relations matters, overseeing the administration of the collective bargaining agreements, and ensuring consistent application of policies and practices across the enterprise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manages the investigation lifecycle thorough impartial investigations into employee complaints, workplace misconduct, and policy violations, ensuring timely resolution, confidentiality, and compliance with all applicable laws and company policies. Conducts complex investigations in consultation with the Director.
2. Manages labor relations activities to include grievance and arbitration process under collective bargaining agreements, contract interpretation, case preparation, documentation, and grievance meetings to resolve disputes effectively.
3. Provides strategic consultation to leaders on disciplinary actions, corrective measures, and performance management concerns, ensuring consistency, fairness, and mitigation of organizational risk.
4. Provides support (coaching, counseling, education) to managers on employee relations. Educates, advises, and informs on managers and employees on employment laws, labor relations, and workplace policies. Works closely with inside and outside counsel in areas of employment law or labor relations as required. Provides training, support, and guidance as related to contractual obligations, anticipated “hot spots,” and grievance processes.
5. Assists with developing and updating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable law, collective bargaining agreements, and tribal ordinances.
6. Tracks and analyzes employee relations trends and metrics to identify patterns, assess program effectiveness, and continuous improvements opportunities.
7. Partners with HR Business Partner team on systemic cases, work collaboratively to identify root cases and develop sustainable, strategic solutions that address underlying issues and enhance organizational effectiveness.
8. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning reviewing and directing work; evaluating and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Make hiring decisions and designs individual development plans with succession planning in mind for all key roles.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organization Development, Psychology, or related field is required.
Minimum seven (7) years of relevant and progressive experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of three (3) years of direct experience in employee and labor relations within an organization of 2000 or more team members is required. Experience working with Tribal Government and Casino-Hospitality, specifically Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation is preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience is required.
Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of the minimum educational requirements indicated above.

Disburses cold boxes at all machines that are scheduled to be dropped per zone. Removes hot boxes from slot machines and ensures that all hot boxes are secured and accounted for. Opens and sorts the contents of the table games, CDU, ATM and gaming machine drop boxes, which consists of counting currency and chips removed from the drop boxes and accurately records and accounts for the currency and chips.
Accurately follows all policies and procedures, ensures compliance with the Gaming Commission's Tribal Gaming Minimum Internal Controls (TICS) and the Gaming Commission Regulations (GCR), by studying the standards, adherence to requirements and advises management on needed actions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Opens slot machines, pulls hot boxes, replaces with cold box, and secures doors of slot machine. Places all hot boxes in secured cages. Reports any machine errors or issues to Drop & Count Supervisor and/or Slot Tech. Delivers cart to Count Room once all box counts are verified by a Drop & Count Supervisor.
2. Is responsible for accurately preparing and processing of high-volume gaming machine currency and tickets, Table Games Chips and currency, and Ticket Redemption Unit currency and tickets. Places cold boxes at all slot machines in designated zones.
3. Prepares cages and verifies cold box count before the slot drop. Places cages on the slot floor in the predesignated zones set by accounting for the current day. Places cold boxes at all slot machines in designated zones. Operates currency counters, computers and assigned software. Complies with operational procedures, processes and all regulations. Signs all necessary forms of documentation for counts completed for submission to Casino Accounting, Table Games and Cage Operations departments.
4. Safeguards enterprise assets and prepares all necessary paperwork to support and reconcile all cold and hot boxes, money and vouchers collected and counted. Maintains security of cage carts, access cards, drop and soft count keys while on duty.
5. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

Under the direction of the Director, Compensation & Benefits, the Manager of Benefits Operations and Compliance oversees the administration and management of employee benefits and wellness programs. The role is responsible for all aspects of the employee portfolio, including health and welfare plans, retirement plans, life insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Continuously evaluates and ensures consistent compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manages and assesses the effectiveness of current programs in achieving organizational objectives; identifies best practices and benchmarks; and develops recommendations for modifications to align to HR strategy and business goals. Effectively plans and directs the implementation and administration of all benefit plans including annual open enrollment efforts. Effectively manages and collaborates with vendors and external partners, including managing the performance of contracts to ensure the maximum value of services is delivered. Partners with HR and leadership on appropriate benefits and wellness packages to recruit and retain talent.
2. Is responsible for all ACA reporting and keeps abreast of regulatory changes affecting benefit plans and ensures company benefit plans and practices are in compliance with external regulatory requirements. Develops and coordinates communications strategies and activities designed to educate and inform employees about current benefits and wellness programs and activities. Provides projected annual budget costs for total rewards and manages expenditures related to benefit programs. Serves as the point of escalation for Benefits Analysts responding to employees and managers questions regarding all benefit related matters.
3. Develops internal operating procedures and controls for the administering and managing benefits operations. Determines and implements metrics that assess and monitor the effectiveness of ongoing Total Rewards programs and new initiatives. Communicates actively with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Payroll, HR and other departments to review cross-departmental impacts and reconcile data sharing. Manages data in accordance with the company's record retention policies and procedures and state and federal laws and regulations. Maintains confidentiality of work-related issues, records and company information. Completes special projects, as assigned.
4. Works with benefit broker on plan design, administration, and compliance with applicable laws. Is responsible for the review of benefit carriers financial reports and contractual arrangements, managing annual benefit premium renewals. Works with benefit broker on an annual detailed analysis of programs, and modelling of proposed changes to determine impact, both from a business and cost perspective and employee perspective. Develops policies, procedures, methods, or standards to ensure fair and equitable administration of all retirement and benefit programs.
5. Manages all aspects of 401(k) plan operations, including day-to-day administration, compliance with ERISA and IRS regulations, and timely reporting to government agencies. Coordinates annual nondiscrimination testing, Form 5500 filings, and audit preparation. Partners with plan providers, fiduciaries, and internal stakeholders to ensure plan integrity, operational efficiency, and alignment with organizational retirement strategies. Develops and delivers employee education initiatives to promote financial wellness and retirement readiness.
6. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning reviewing and directing work; evaluating and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Make hiring decisions and designs individual development plans with succession planning in mind for all key roles.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or related field required.
Minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in Benefits and Wellness, managing programs for organizations with 2,000+ employees and diverse, multi-tiered benefit offerings across multiple locations or employee groups required.
Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience is required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Observes departments to ensure thorough understanding of staffing needs and opportunities. Leverages predictive analytics and historical data analysis to forecast and model necessary staffing levels for the purpose of proposing and creating optimized and strategic schedules for complex departments. Manages development, and proposes and presents new scheduling models and strategies to relevant department union representatives, managers, directors, and/or vice presidents. Makes recommendations using FTE analyses for appropriate budgeted department staffing. Monitors traffic flow identifying bottlenecks to mitigate vehicle obstructions while locating safe intervals through which vehicles and pedestrians can safely drive/cross roadways. Communicates occupancy, safety hazards, and congestion levels to leadership. Follows safety rules and regulations on, including placing signs, barricades, traffic cones and other warning devices.
2. Adheres to Valet operational protocols while assigned to attendant duties. Operates all guest and company vehicles following California vehicle code governing operations. Delivers best in Class service following company service standards ensuring guest satisfaction.
3. Adheres to all California State and Federal transportation rules and regulations that govern passenger carriers. Exercises maximum regard for safety and welfare of all transported guests while operating shuttle. Completes daily pre trip/post trip vehicle safety inspections (Daily Vehicle Inspection Report), ensuring shuttle meets safety regulations to transport guests. Reports any condition of concern to management regarding vehicle issues/defects that may affect driver and passenger/guest safety. Complies with state and federal traffic and transit regulations. Provides management with accurate and up-to-date information regarding vehicle repairs, parking lot statuses, business operations, vehicle supplies, and/or any internal or external guest concerns.
4.
