Responsibilities: Performs comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine the status of the speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities of inpatients and outpatients, considering diagnosis and age specific needs. Develops and implements, with patient/family participation, individualized treatment plans as indicated, considering diagnosis and age specific needs, with measurable goals and methods to achieve goals. Maintains quality documentation regarding patient status, to include: Initial Patient Evaluations, Daily and Weekly Progress notes as required, Discharge Summaries and other notations as appropriate. Participates in patient care conferences, family conferences, in-service programs, departmental and interdepartmental meetings. Counsels family and other involved individuals regarding patient evaluation, care and treatment. Initiates and completes discharge planning promptly and provides effective education and training. Trips pipe - uses slips, tongs and elevators. Cut and thread pipe. Perform service maintenance on rigs. Follow all safety requirements. Assists in running casing and tubing as directed. Assists in catching samples and managing mud properties as directed. Clean and maintain work sites, shop and yard areas. Learn operation of the rig.
