Job DescriptionCrucial LinkBlast Line General LaborPay: $15 - $17 /hour1st, 2nd, 3rd Shift Availability Needed Summary of Responsibilities: This position will be moving steel plates through the blaster and running a vibrating table as assigned. Observe machine and Robot operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines, as necessary. Job Duties: o Work from verbal instructions.o May perform simple cleaning maintenance operations.o Reports abnormal conditions of equipment to supervision.o Observes all safety rules and regulations and keeps work area clean and orderly. Job Requirementso Reliable/Dependableo MUST be able to pass background check and drug screeningo Willingness to work any shift.o Ability to follow instructions provided by supervisor. Vector's partner in Wickliffe, OH, manufactures military and commercial turbine blades and vanes for aircraft and land-based applications. They need a Waterblaster to join their growing team! Available Shifts: 3rd Shift OWW schedule (7p-7a) = $18/hr. + $3 shift diff = $21/hr. RESPONSIBILITIES: Casting shell removal using high pressure water blast cabinets. Visual inspection of castings for excess shell or other general defects (core break, inclusions etc.) Use of fixtures for all FR's. Verification of parts to paperwork. Record all work performed in Lot Control. Other cross-training opportunities will exist within the department. Keep the area in a clean, orderly and safe working condition. QUALIFICATIONS: Pay close attention to detail. Must show ability to follow detailed procedures reliably. Be able to meet daily production goals. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to be self-directed and motivated. Capable of handling multiple tasks. Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions.
