Job Description
The MA in the ambulatory care setting collects subjective and objective health status data from the patient or caregiver and communicates this data to the health care provider. Qualifications

Job Summary
Performs echocardiography tests/procedures in accordance with the American Society of Echocardiography standards. Qualifications
When working or hired in South Dakota: Graduate from an accredited two-year Cardiac Ultrasound Program required.
When working or hired in North Dakota: Graduate from an accredited school of cardiac sonography program or one year work experience in cardiac sonography preferred. On the job training may be considered with appropriate leadership approval and must have an allied health certificate/diploma in an imaging modality to be considered for on the job training.
When working in Minnesota: Graduate from an accredited two-year Cardiac Ultrasound Program OR a bachelor's degree and one year equivalent work experience required.
When working in all other states: Minimum of one year equivalent work experience or an allied health certificate/diploma required.
When working or hired in South Dakota: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or registry eligible is required within 12 months into the position. Job Description
Obtains a thorough medical history from patient and dependent on patient population and setting, will perform an examination and/or assessment to determine patient's needs. With other healthcare professionals, analyze and interpret information collected from patient, medical records, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information, to develop and establish appropriate diagnosis.
Acknowledges and demonstrates the importance of care coordination and navigation by rounding on patients. Works in collaboration with providers and independently to provide care. Qualifications
Completion of a master's, postmaster's, or doctorate from an nurse practitioner program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. Licensing prior to August 1, 1995, master's degree in nursing is preferred.

Position requirements:
A graduate of a Surgical Technology program or graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
National certification preferred.
If an LPN, currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.

The Sanford Aberdeen Pharmacy department is a dynamic and critical part of patient care, working closely with interdisciplinary teams as the medication experts. We provide on-site services to Aberdeen Medical Center and Aberdeen Emergency Department operations, after-hours order verification and clinical pharmacy services to 23 network hospitals in the Sanford South Network and pharmacist- managed ambulatory pharmacy services in the attached Sanford Aberdeen Clinic. **Job Summary**
Review prescriptions to assure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients, and to evaluate their suitability. Provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage. In a medical center or institutional setting, the Pharmacist reviews and interprets provider orders, provides drug information, assists in problem solving, and provides other aspects of pharmaceutical care. Duties may consist of unit dose dispensing, IV Admixtures, outpatient prescriptions, navigating the electronic medical record, compounding, and working with automated dispensing devices. The Pharmacist utilizes appropriate age-related patient information to assess the pharmaceutical needs of patients, which may include provision of pharmaceutical care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The Pharmacist follows all established regulations and standards that govern the practice of pharmacy. May be required to act as a shift supervisor under direct or indirect supervision by department managers. Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to learn and utilize new technology as the profession of pharmacy evolves. Provides oversight and clinical supervision for pharmacy services and pharmacy support personnel.
Pharmacy services at Sanford Health may include involvement in acute care surgery, neurology, cardiology, pediatrics, oncology, infusion services, intensive care, general medicine, dialysis, transplant, antimicrobial stewardship, and medication reconciliation. May include decentralized clinical functions, such as direct patient interaction/interdisciplinary team rounding, chart reviews, customer or patient counseling, collecting accurate medication list. May also include centralized clinical functions, such as checking and dispensing medications and overseeing the clinical functions of the IV room.
**Qualifications**
In a medical center or institutional setting: Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy. Must have a thorough knowledge of drugs and their actions; knowledge of state and local regulations. Hospital experience or residency preferred.
License must be in good standing by the State Board of Pharmacy in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position.

**Qualifications**
Associates degree in Laboratory Science required.

Registry eligible candidates must successfully complete the Board of Registry examination within 12 months of employment. If working in North Dakota (ND), must be licensed or have a provisional license, by the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice. Maintain continuing education credits equivalent to the state requirements as needed for license and certifications. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
