Job Summary
Lead Environmental Services Technician assists managers with the daily operational housekeeping activities and monitors cleanliness standards in a healthcare environment. Assist with direction of employee work schedules, supervising and allocating cleaning staff on daily housekeeping activities, such as cleaning patient/resident rooms, facilities and disposing waste. Maintaining and inventory stock to ensure that supplies and equipment are available in adequate amounts. Performing administrative tasks for ordering housekeeping supplies in a healthcare environment. Check and maintain equipment to ensure that it is in working order. Monitoring the use of cleaning agents and equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) in an appropriate way; issuing keys, clean linens, cleaning supplies and equipment to cleaning staff.
Ensuring housekeeping processes are in accordance with healthcare organization and regulatory codes. Depending upon location and availability of programs, may have access to use of internal applications.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Work experience in environmental services is beneficial.

Exhibits initiative with events. Provides leadership qualities when necessary. Participates in staff meetings as scheduled. Depending on location, may be required to serve on call as assigned. Employees in the Crisis Care Program, Serves as part of a regional on-call spiritual/crisis care team, providing urgent, short term spiritual care support across GSS locations. Travels to locations as needed on short notice to provide care to residents/staff due to unexpected/traumatic/critical events. Provides on-site presence to support staff debriefing, facilitate grief rituals, and offer grounding spiritual presence during times of acute stress. Assesses the spiritual and emotional climate of the facility during crisis situations and advises leadership on next steps.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Theology with the Association of Theological Schools (seminary or equivalent) with a Master of Divinity or a Master of Theology degree strongly preferred. Completion of two units of Clinical Pastoral Education or being certified or credentialed as a chaplain, along with being endorsed or affirmed for this ministry by denomination is preferred. One Unit = 400 hours, 300 clinical ministry, 100 group experience under supervision of certified supervisor of CPE program.
Previous and extensive pastoral experience preferred. Must be an active member in good standing of a Christian denomination per Good Samaritan Society's "A Description of Being Christian in the Lutheran Tradition.”
Required to be ordained, licensed or commissioned to function in a religious vocation by an appropriate religious authority. Must provide written verification of ordination, licensed or commissioned status prior to being hired.

Job Summary

Job Summary
Environmental Services Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident rooms and assigned areas for patients/residents, visitors and associates by following infection control, safety, and procedural guidelines. Tasks that the individual will be responsible for include but not limited to; emptying waste baskets, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Demonstrate knowledge of housekeeping processes, tools and techniques in a healthcare environment; ability to apply this to provide a clean and sterile environment for patients/residents and facility staff. Wear the proper protective equipment following the appropriate guidelines. Keep storage, equipment and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Environmental Services Technicians will have access to pagers and other technology that they will be responsible to use appropriately when needed. Assist in the laundry areas as appropriate. Depending upon location and availability of programs, may have access to use of technology applications.
Physical activities include but not limited to, considerable use of arms and legs and moving of whole body; such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, twisting, squatting, and handling materials. Ability to lift and/or move up to 40-50lbs and push/pull up variable weight limits on flat surfaces or up and down ramps. This position will require the individual to be on their feet for the majority of their shift. May be exposed to certain levels of noise with the equipment in operation.
Depending on location of position, work hours will vary depending on patient/resident needs. This may include overtime, call, backup call, nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Ability to use computer and prior cleaning experience is helpful. Knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods and cleaning chemicals is helpful. Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required. Previous custodial experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

Job Summary
Administers speech and language evaluations, tests or examinations to diagnose and plan treatments for clients/patients/residents with various speech problems and swallowing disorders. Assesses clients/patients/residents with various speech, language, cognitive or swallowing problems and develops individualized treatment plans based on clinical diagnoses. Provides speech and language services to clients/patients/residents; monitors disease progression and adjusts treatments accordingly. Instructs clients/patients/residents in practicing speech and language therapeutic exercises; provides consultation for clients/patients/residents working through speech and language treatment processes. Ensures all speech and language related standards, policies, protocols and quality requirements are met.
May treat individuals of all ages with varying diagnosis and disorders. Will demonstrate documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines and meet all regulatory requirements. Demonstrates level of treatment associated with their specialty provided to their clients/patients/residents. Follows and adheres to accepted clinical practice guidelines of professional organization.
Exhibits flexibility with acceptance of variable work schedules/assignments. Participates in activities to promote the department, Good Samaritan Society and Sanford Health. Will be interacting with individuals outside of the department including but not limited to: providers, case managers, third party payers, public organizations, etc. May be asked to supervise assistants, aides, and students as they provide client/patient/resident care, treatment, or other services. Will be expected to provide ongoing education and training to peers in the area(s) of expertise as determined by the department leadership. Performs other related duties as requested by manager.
Based on assigned area, work may focus on those receiving intervention in the post-acute, long term care and home health care environments when applicable.
Qualifications
Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Speech-Language Pathologist.
When working at a Sanford Health Facility (not required but preferred by GSS Facilities): Holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or currently working on Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
When applicable, may require valid driver's license.
Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications. Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.

Summary

Summary

Depending upon location and availability of programs, may have access to use of technology applications. Physical activities include but not limited to, considerable use of arms and legs and moving of whole body; such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, twisting, squatting, and handling materials. Ability to lift and/or move up to 40-50lbs and push/pull up variable weight limits on flat surfaces or up and down ramps. This position will require the individual to be on their feet for the majority of their shift. May be exposed to certain levels of noise with the equipment in operation. Depending on location of position, work hours will vary depending on patient/resident needs. This may include overtime, call, backup call, nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Ability to use computer and prior cleaning experience is helpful. Knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods and cleaning chemicals is helpful. Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required. Qualifications

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with resident and family, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting. Cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Responsible for the coordination of care, resident assessment, resident education and various other nursing interventions.
May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to license and unlicensed assistive personnel that are within the job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and the competence level of the delegate. Provides adequate assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns. Functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice and licensure. The Professional Nursing Practice recognizes the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as published by the American Nurses Association as the foundation of nursing care delivery and professional conduct.
Qualifications
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Summary

Job Description
Assists residents with self-administration of medications. May administer medications with proper training. Assists residents in maintaining proper and clean appearance. Assists residents with bathing and maintaining cleanliness of all body areas. Helps residents with toileting needs. Helps residents with dressing and undressing and maintaining proper clothing. Assists residents in transferring, repositioning and walking. Obtain vital signs accurately and reports changes in resident health status. Adheres to OSHA and CDC guidelines to minimize infections by following aseptic cleaning techniques, including those that apply to blood borne pathogens. Demonstrates safe and proper techniques for chemical use, and follows SDS guidelines for any exposure. Assists with preparing and serving nutritious, appealing meals and snacks to residents following orders, standards and regulations. Folds, hangs and distributes clean linens and personal clothing. Prepares and launders soiled linen / clothing. Cleans residents' rooms and bathrooms, work areas and other public areas. Takes part in community involvement in location and works with volunteers.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. High School Diploma or GED may be required based on working state.
If working at a facility in which a lift is utilized to move residents, must meet the minimum state age requirement.
Must complete and maintain assigned medication administration training program and competencies per state guidelines.
