SUMMARY Located onsite at a US Jabil facility. Manage all planning activities for the dedicated assigned workcell and mentor the Production Planners and Document Coordinators in the workcell. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensure 100% on-time delivery. * Establish build readiness. * Maintain efficiency of capacity and customer sizing. * Maintain accurate revenue forecasting. * Maintain material control and liability. * Develop Master Production Schedule (MPS) and load into Jabil's ERP system, including Purchase Order (PO) coverage. * Reconcile the MPS to customer PO coverage weekly to ensure that Jabil is not exposed over and above customer PO coverage or other authorized customer demand. * Ensure the MPS is always 100% accurate and achievable. * Achieve and maintain 95% MPS goal. * Own production planning, BOM and document control with or without additional support. * Analyze material and capacity requirements and communicate constraints to the Workcell and customer based on accurate customer demand. * Maintain the workcell's capacity planning model; drive resolution on uneven capacity utilization that keeps Jabil focused on the customer but efficiently utilizing manufacturing resources. * Meet daily with the Workcell and manufacturing team to assess production schedules, (adjust as necessary based on production results) optimize run quantities, and minimize changeovers to help achieve 100% on time delivery. * Maintain the customers' latest contract on file at all times and be familiar with the terms and conditions of the contract regarding customer liability of material planning and production scheduling. This includes the liability window for Jabil material purchase order placement, purchase price for components, and liability for any in-house materials (purchased and manufactured). * Be the workcell's "expert" on all planning activities by supporting the Production Planner goal of never starting to build product without having a valid PO, adequate material quantities, and accurate BOM and an accurate routing. * Lead the Workcell on the creation of Bills of Material (BOMs) and routings that allows accurate tracking of WIP assemblies and accurate inventory movement transactions. * End-of Life (EOL) management should include chairing a meeting 30 days prior to the last planned build date to create tactics to support the EOL strategy. The Master Planner would own the build schedule, corrections and resolution of MPS to customer demand, planned tactics on deadlines for assemblies out of the various work areas on the floor, deadline for last shipment, and support plan for potential RMAs. * Manage Jabil purge process for internal Workcell purges. * Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor. * Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy. Position Summary: The Division Supply Chain Manager develops and manages the direction and daily activities of the division's materials and services with the focus on people, organization, processes and information technology. This includes the S&OP process to support manufacturing and ensuring timely logistical processing of product. Responsibilities: * Leading all Supply Chain Management activities within the division while reporting directly to the General Manager of the Division * Managing a large, dynamic team of Materials Managers, Commodity Managers, Buyers, Purchasing Specialists and Program Administrators in a variety of aspects of our business and manufacturing operations such as procurement, planning/scheduling, production control, material handling, and shipping/receiving docks, etc. * Representing supply chain at the division level with Parker Aerospace and Parker Hannifin while interacting with all levels of division management including Operations, Sales, Engineering, Quality Control, Marketing and Finance. * Coordinating best practices with other division supply chain managers and the group supply chain manager. * Managing the complete material control process including procurement, production/inventory control, and transportation logistics. * A focal point for key suppliers and key customers in negotiating long term contracts in coordination with group staff and policies. * Responsible for embracing and driving lean enterprise systems throughout the division's supply chain and inventory management & manufacturing/production internally and with suppliers externally. * Owner of our preferred supplier selection criteria based on supplier evaluations of price, quality, delivery, certifications, compliance with governmental procurement regulations and group programs as well as our crisis management and supplier backup contingency programs * Responsible for managing the division's overall strategic production planning practices taking into consideration short term/long term production requirements and integrating materials availability * Establishing and implementing standard/automated delivery procedures for just in time supplier stocking items, special order requests, engineering changes and part substitutions, and sales market demand for products. * Managing the division's transportation logistics to ensure distribution of products direct to customers or through distribution centers / warehouses is completed with optimum service at the most efficient cost. * Setting the tone of excellence by providing leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development. * Driving a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management. * A key voice in the implementation of next generation ERP system (SAP) Qualifications: * At least ten (10) years of leadership experience in supply chain management. * Aerospace industry experience * Bachelor degree required in Business, Engineering, or Materials Management; Master degree strongly preferred. * Past or current certification in supply chain management such as APICS strongly preferred. * Possesses analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities. * Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal, communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts. * Must be an innovator and embrace lean enterprise principles and practices. * Excellent problem-solving skills. Position Summary The Manufacturing Engineer 2 ensures maximum cost effectiveness and reliability of manufacturing processes and workflow. Determines the methods and sequences of manufacturing operations for moderately complex products and machine parts and assemblies; ensures that products and processes meet customer quality requirements. Provides producibility input and manufacturing plans for product design or modification. Essential Functions * Evaluates moderately complex manufacturing processes by conducting process analysis, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, conferring with suppliers, and soliciting observations from operators/production technicians. * Develops moderately complex manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; and conferring with equipment suppliers.
