Role Overview:
* Practically apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.

The Production Assembler position is responsible for performing production assembly functions on the assembly line and its sub cells while using a variety of hand / power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations that correctly assemble a product that meets established quality standards.
PRINICIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Follow Operating Instructions to assemble various components and sub assemblies together by using various hand / power tools in the manufacture of Outdoor Menu Boards
Confirm product quality at the source to ensure production of a high quality product
Conduct pre-shift machine and tool check to ensure that the parameters are within specified range. Check materials being used against BOM and part drawings for accuracy and report any mismatch to line leadership
Demonstrate initiative and communicate with management regarding actions and non-routine situations. Participate in continuous improvement projects and follow Safety and 5S protocols
Repair Outdoor Menu Board Sub Assemblies that are returned from the customer
Maintain confidentiality regarding manufacturing processes, blue prints and drawings, project costs, and personnel data.
Perform other duties as requested
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
1-2 years in a manufacturing environment required
Requires previous assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
Requires safety and quality conscious associates with ability to read BOMs/ Technical drawings
Requires manual dexterity, speed, accuracy and hand-eye coordination
