Located in the city of Santa Barbara, California, Cottage Children's Medical Center is recognized today as a regional referral center for the medical needs of infants, toddlers and children throughout the tri-county area. It is part of the larger Cottage Hospital, a major not-for-profit teaching hospital and trauma center servicing the south and central coast of California since 1888. Cottage Children's Medical Center comprises an 18-bed Pediatric Unit, 8-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, 22-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Grotenhuis Pediatric Clinics, and an active Pediatric Surgery Division.
