Purpose of Position: Under the general direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, to lead, plan and supervise human resources department and certificated personnel services. The director leads the day to day operations of the department and must manage the people and processes of the human resources department.The Director synthesizes laws and policies and creates accountability systems to ensure compliance and completion.
Essential Functions:
Maintains a high knowledge of software management systems in the District as it relates to Human Resources functions and how those functions are interdependent with other departments.
Leads and seeks out transformation of Human Resources Services by integrating technologies into department functions.
Leads and maintains a culture of customer service within the Human Resources Department
Leads the Human Resources Department in the area of collaboration and teamwork, important for interdepartmental relations.
Conducts investigations in employee workplace complaints.
Develops and maintains a quality evaluation process for certificated staff.
Supervision and evaluation of HR office staff.
Establishes and maintains the Districts' certificated personnel records.
Prepares offers of employment for certificated and management personnel.
Communicate with management regarding requirements of certificated positions, administers federal guidelines for credential requirements and maintenance and monitoring of credentials.
Evaluate transcripts and records of certificated staff to determine eligibility for credentials, permits and waivers; notify employees regarding needed information such as transcripts or other appropriate documentation; maintain record of college units earned for proper placement on salary schedule.
Prepares annual contracts for teachers and administrative staff.
Communicates with principals and other administrators regarding staffing ratios.
Responsible for determining District staffing levels and coordinating this with Fiscal Services for budget development.
Maintains current lists of all certificated personnel, including valid credentials, teaching assignments and seniority lists, for various District and State needs.
Keeps abreast of education codes and new laws pertaining to certificated employees.
Conduct research in matters concerning budget, staffing and collective bargaining.
Participate in employer/employee relation activities; gather and analyze data; make confidential recommendations to management negotiators on employee grievances and contract language.
Serve as a liaison between the district and Department of Justice fingerprint recording requirements.
Counsels certificated employees regarding retirement questions.
Supervises the review of certificated applications, determining disposition of same, including determination of interviews for potential certificated staff for the district.
Supervises the preparation of job flyers for certificated positions and brochures for management positions.
Prepares summer school job announcements and organizes data relevant to filing certificated summer school assignments.
Supervises the substitute teacher program, including supervisor of substitute callers.
Performs other duties as assigned.

DEFINITION: Under the direction of A-OK Site Coordinator and the support from the After School Program Coordinator, the A-OK TK/K Program Leader supervises a group of 10-20 TK/K students with a second TK/K Program Leader, assisting with the homework help component and providing enrichment activities. As an A-OK TK/K team member, the Program Leader plans and delivers A-OK TK/K activities, considers age level developmental needs and interests, is a positive role model for students, supports students to experience a variety of learning opportunities, and creates a positive environment for learning and enrichment with a goal of 100% participation.

Position Summary
The Assistant Principal for Academics (APA) is primarily responsible for the leadership, direction, and development of the school's academic program, including the curriculum, instruction, master schedule, and assessment. The APA creates and nurtures a positive learning environment for all students and is responsible for the hiring, supervision, and evaluation of the academic faculty. The APA ensures that the quality of the academic curriculum consistently reflects the mission and Integral Student Outcomes (ISOs) of the school as delineated in the Faculty Handbook, the school's Strategic Plan, and other pertinent documents.
As a key member of the Administrative Team, the APA articulates the vision, priorities, and evolution of the academic program to both internal and external stakeholders. Essential Duties, Roles and Responsibilities:
School Mission and Leadership
Models in word and deed the school's Lasallian Vincentian Catholic (LVC) mission;
Motivates, encourages, and supports others to animate and advance the school's mission;
Develops, evaluates, and continually updates a rigorous academic program which explicitly integrates the LVC mission of the school in all academic policies, procedures, departments and courses;
Invests in the mission of SHC and the charisms of the Daughters of Charity and De La Salle Christian Brothers through ongoing formation of self and others;
Participates in regular Administrative Team meetings to plan and promote the vision, philosophy, strategic plan, mission, and Integral Student Outcomes (ISOs) of the school;
Serves as an administrative officer for the faculty and staff, ensuring communication, implementation and adherence to school policies and professional expectations;

Provides leadership in the development, articulation, and implementation of academic policies and procedures, staying current with emerging trends in education;
Analyze, evaluate, and communicate about academic data to improve the school's academic program;

Coordinates activities of a school-wide nature directly related to the academic life of the school community (e.g., Back-to-School night, Academic Awards Ceremony);
Assists with the regular collection of Student Perception Surveys;

This full-time position plays a central role in the technical planning, execution, and supervision of theatrical productions while also mentoring students and supporting the educational mission of the school.
The Assistant Technical Director works closely with the Upper School Technical Director, production directors and designers, faculty, staff, guest artists, and student technicians to ensure professional-level production values across all performances and events. Responsibilities
Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Performing Arts Productions
Assist in the technical planning, installation, operation, and strike of all performing arts productions.
Ensure the safe installation, inspection, and use of all overhead and rigged elements, in accordance with industry best practices.
Operate and program theatrical systems, including:
Sound: Digital mixing consoles (QL5, X32, XAir, Dante networks), wireless microphones, playback systems, and live reinforcement.
Lighting: DMX and network-based lighting systems and fixtures, including ETC EOS family software, RDM, and Gio@5.
Projection and Media: Projection systems, media servers, and playback software.
Program and operate show control and playback software such as QLab for audio, video, and MIDI.
Advise production and program directors on technical specifications, equipment usage, and projected costs for individual productions.
Attend production meetings, technical rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and performances as required.
Maintain current knowledge of in-house equipment and recommend maintenance or upgrades as needed.
Support the ongoing stewardship, organization, and improvement of performance venues and technical equipment.
Seek ongoing professional development to ensure alignment with current industry standards and emerging technologies.
Maintain familiarity with ADA and OSHA compliance as it relates to theatrical and event production.
Educational Theatre and Student Mentorship
Directly mentor and train student technicians in lighting, sound, projection, stagecraft, and safe work practices.

Foster a positive and inclusive working environment that emphasizes responsibility, skill development, and growth.

Campus Events and Institutional Support
Coordinate and manage Special Event Requests (SERs) for campus events in collaboration with the Technical Director and Head of Facilities.
Provide technical support for faculty and staff meetings, guest speakers, assemblies, and campus-wide gatherings.
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audiovisual systems for live events, including microphones, playback, projection, and lighting.
Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and external presenters to meet the technical needs of non-theatrical events.

What We re Looking For
Demonstrated experience in sound engineering, lighting, projection, and basic networking for live performance and event production.
Working knowledge of QLab, Vectorworks, and contemporary theatrical control systems.
Experience supervising or assisting with rigging, scenery installation, and overhead systems, with a strong commitment to safety and best practices.
Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as dictated by rehearsal, performance, and event schedules.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, guest artists, and students.

Preferred

Basic Functions
Under the direction of the Department Chair/Director, perform a variety of specialized duties in support of the Noncredit Health Academy programs; plan, coordinate and organize office activities and coordinate flow of communications, correspondence and information for Noncredit Health Academy programs; prepare and maintain a variety of manual and automated records and reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Perform a variety of specialized duties in support of Health Academy programs; assure smooth and efficient office operations, and proper and timely completion of projects and activities; plan, coordinate and organize office activities and coordinate flow of communications and information
for Health Academy programs.
Provide technical information and assistance to applicants, administrators, faculty, staff, students
and the public concerning Health Academy, programs, operations, applications and related functions, activities, standards, requirements, services, policies and procedures.
Serve as the primary administrative assistant to Health Academy program staff; provide public relations and communication services; initiate and receive telephone calls; take, retrieve and relay messages as needed; schedule and arrange appointments, conferences, meetings and other events.

Research, compile and verify a variety of data and information related to applicants and health and nursing programs; duplicate, assemble, distribute, collect, verify and assure accuracy and completeness of various documents.
Coordinate and attend a variety of meetings as assigned; compile and prepare agenda items and other required information and materials for meetings and other events; take, transcribe and distribute minutes as directed.

Essential Functions:
Provide occupational therapy services to students by conducting assessments within the educational setting using a variety of techniques or models to determine the level of need.
Develop educationally relevant goals that are part of the student's educational program.
Evaluate student progress on individual IEP goals and revise goals as needed; prepare reports of occupational therapy assessments and progress.
Consult with parents and staff on occupational therapy interventions for students on site and through home programs. Attend IEP meetings as necessary to ensure that prescribed interventions support educational goals.
Coordinate occupational therapy services with the student's educational team.
Instruct multi-disciplinary teams in treatment approaches related to instructional support; provide in-service training and continuing professional learning to certificated teachers, resource providers, and paraeducators.
Develop best practices for therapy services.
Prepare documentation of services that conforms with professional standards of state and other agencies.
Design modify, or consult regarding adaptive equipment that enhances student ability to access learning and technology.
Maintain punctual and consistent attendance.
