Interview victims, suspects and witnesses; gather and preserve evidence; testify in court and present evidence as needed. Provide information and respond to questions from students, staff and visitors. Perform related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience
Graduation from high school or passed the general educational development (GED) test indicating high school graduation level; and minimum of one year of full-time compensated law enforcement experience. Current employment with a California Law Enforcement Agency as a Sworn California Peace Officer that qualifies applicant for lateral employment in limited term assignments or separated from a California law enforcement agency as a Sworn California Peace Officer within the last three (3) years. BASIC FUNCTION:

Job Responsibilities

Consult with vendors, service providers and technical support regarding purchase of parts, status of repairs and answers to software and hardware related questions.
Communicate with other departments and District personnel to coordinate activities and provide technical assistance.
Drive a vehicle to various sites to conduct work; prioritize and respond to emergency service calls.
Maintain a variety of records and reports related to computer repairs and inventory; update databases as necessary; process service requests and verify computer specifications.
Convert documents as directed.
Using a variety of communication methods, provides on-line support and assistance to users, Help Desk support and remote control of user systems as directed.
Provides limited technical support for word processing, spreadsheet, database, and other applications.

Conejo Valley Unified Under the supervision of the Central Kitchen Production Supervisor, to assist in cooking, production and distribution activities related to the Satellite lunch program, Adult Menu and Catering programs; to perform all the duties of a Child Nutrition Assistant I when required; to do related work as required. CLASS CHARACTERISTICS Positions include responsible primary assignments of assistance to the Central Kitchen Production Supervisor, performing cooking and production duties. Works directly with Central Kitchen Production Supervisor to ensure that daily assignments are being completed to department standards. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES Assists the Central Kitchen Production Supervisor in all aspects of cooking, production, assembly, ordering, inventory, and distribution activities, on a primary functional and time allotment basis; communicates directly with Central Kitchen Production Supervisor as it relates to the flow of activity in the Central Kitchen in areas including, but not exclusive to; food supply, distribution schedules and routing, and operation of equipment; on a secondary and minimal time basis would perform any and all Child Nutrition Assistant I duties as assigned; does related work as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of: Methods of preparing sandwiches, salads, desserts, and related food items; Sanitation principles applicable to child nutrition and kitchen maintenance; Basic kitchen utensils and equipment. Ability to: Read, interpret and follow quantity cooking and baking instructions; Operate machines found in school cafeterias and food production areas; Understand and carry out oral and written directions; Count money and make change; Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted during the course of work; Perform some heavy manual labor. Experience: Six months of experience as a Child Nutrition Assistant I in Conejo Valley Unified School District; or the equivalent experience in another quantity food preparation organization. Education: Persons with the experience, knowledge and abilities as stated are considered to have the necessary education. Physical Requirements: The ability to pass a physical examination deemed appropriate by the District and perform the physical requirements of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have knowledge of procedures involved in the maintenance of inventory records and files; current office methods and procedures; proper record keeping methods and techniques, and proper English usage, grammar and punctuation; computer software necessary to complete assigned tasks.
Must possess the skill to learn and use various instructional materials and equipment; type accurately at a rate sufficient for successful job performance; direct and supervise student help; establish and maintain inventory and other records and files; communicate effectively in both oral and written forms; prepare routine reports and correspondence; perform routine mathematical calculations accurately; operate standard office equipment including typewriter, calculator, copier and computer terminal; establish and maintain effective work relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties.
Must possess the ability to maintain inventory records and conduct physical inventory of textbooks and materials at regularly scheduled intervals using the District's automated management system; check and verify textbooks and other orders against requisitions and prepare reports of discrepancies; help plan and implement textbook distribution system and procedures; perform related duties as required.
Some library and audio-visual and relevant library courses in college are desirable; may require knowledge of routine library circulation and reference methods and procedures.
One year of experience in typing and clerical work.
A PRE-EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL ASSESSMENT AND CRIMINAL HISTORY CHECK WILL BE REQUIRED OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT.
DUTIES OF THE POSITION: Under general supervision, perform responsible clerical duties in the receipt, processing, distribution and accounting of textbooks, library books, audio-visual and other related instructional and educational materials. Provide assistance to students, faculty and other in the use of materials and equipment.
STARTING SALARY: $3,035.81 (monthly)
NUMBER OF MONTHS: 10.5 (to begin as soon as possible)
NUMBER OF HOURS: 8 (daily working hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
