The Difference You Make:
The Sr. Associate, Strategic Initiatives, will join a high-performing team focused on execution of strategic projects. The Sr. Associate will play a key role managing a portfolio of high-priority strategic initiatives that will shape the future of Santander US. They will focus on the execution of the most critical projects for Santander US and oversee a team of PMOs to ensure proper implementation of all project management aspects (risk assessment, governance, artifacts, etc.). The Sr. Associate will liaise with stakeholders across multiple functions (business, risk, finance, technology) to ensure proper delivery of strategic initiatives. This is an ideal position for a candidate who wants to apply previous management consulting or corporate banking experience into an execution-focused and fast-paced role.
This is a high-visibility role with exposure to senior management.

+ Working closely with the client team, the role of the Credit Officer in the credit process is the guidance and oversight of underwriting, structuring, and documentation of credit requests on an assigned portfolio

+ Underwrite and structure complex credit transactions with minimal oversight

+ Minimum of 7 years commercial credit underwriting an analysis with a commercial bank or OEM captive finance organization.
+ Strong knowledge and comprehension of loan and collateral documentation

**Job Description** :
This job is responsible for providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. Key responsibilities include triaging client leads, making referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals, building a financial plan, and recommending brokerage products. Job expectations include applying and expanding knowledge by completing required licenses and trainings. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. **Responsibilities:**
+ Works with clients to plan their short and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money managed solutions
+ Recommends banking and investments strategies that align with client financial goals and needs
+ Triages client requests and makes referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
+ Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities

**Required Qualifications** **:**
