NCDOT’s environment services over 6,000 users and includes instances of ECC 6.0, BI 7.0, Business Objects, CRM, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, GRC, NWCE and PI. Maintaining a sound production environment for development initiatives while at the same time participating in multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity is key.

This role requires close collaboration and coordination with the Business departments, SAP Development team, SAP Basis team, SAP Functional team, Network Engineers and Enterprise Architects.

Description (including, but not limited to):

• Experience designing, developing and implementing SAP solutions in traditional ABAP development.
• WRICEFs (workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms) with both custom development and customizations to existing processes.
• Experience using the ABAP programming language to modify and enhance SAP standard programs with the SAP enhancement framework.
• Experience with Data dictionary objects, Reports, Module Pool prog., BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, BAPIs, RFCs, SAPScript, Conversions, Interfaces.
• Experience with ABAP Workbench Debugging, BDC, ALE, IDOCS, FI Validations / Subs., Batch proc., Object based dev. utilizing SAP classes and methods.
• Experience with WebDynpro development.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager in the development/support process.
• Preferred experience with SAP modules: FI/CO/AP/AR/SD/PS.
• Ability to manage complex projects and tasks.
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with SAP HANA.
• Experience developing SAP Fiori/UI5 apps using SAP Web IDE consuming Gateway OData/Restful APIs, JSON services, and Git.
• Experience with PI Interface development.
• Experience developing SAP OData Models using SAP Gateway Service builder and CDS Views.
• Experience with S/4 HANA.

***The candidate will work remotely until all staff return to site. At that time the candidate will be expected to work full time onsite.
***The candidate will need to use his or her own computer until he or she starts working onsite. When the candidate is working full time on site he or she will be given NCDOT equipment.
***The max rate for this position is $150.00/hour.

**SAP Developer, Archer Daniels Midland Company, Erlanger, KY.** Design SAP solutions to ensure alignment to ADM software development lifecycle standards & practices. Ensure proper utilization of defined ADM Enterprise Architecture standards and principles. Design development strategies to adherence to IT General Controls and SOX Controls. Collaborate with Architects, Development Teams, and project leaders to ensure development processes and policies are followed. **Minimum Requirements**

**Must Have The Following Professional Skills/experience**

+ 3 years of experience performing SAP ABAP development on transformation projects;

+ 1 years of experience with SAP S/4 HANA;

+ Experience with at least 2 END-TO-END SAP full lifecycle implementations, with at least 1 being from inception to implementation

+ 1 years of experience providing production support in a leadership role in a large/mid-size SAP application environment;

+ 1 years of experience building and delivering production support outcomes to meet service level agreements;

+ level agreements.

+ Experience working in an Agile environment;

+ Experience performing application development, testing, integration, and implementing DevOps principles and best practices with center of excellence mentality.

+ Experience utilizing multiple technology and system integration platforms including .NET Technologies, Relational Database (ORACLE or SQL SERVER), SOA, and CLOUD NATIVE DEVELOPMENT.

+ Building SAP objects.

+ Good Communication and documentation skills.

+ Ability to grow in technology and become a leader within ADM.

+ Certification - SAP/S4 certification is a Plus. Education - Bachelor degree

Our Application Development team is looking for a highly motivated ABAP Developer. The ideal individual for our team will have in-depth knowledge of full spectrum of SAP Development domain, ranging from basics to advanced skills and techniques. What you'll be doing:

+ Work closely with Business Systems Analyst team to determine optimal solutions addressing the functional requirements.

+ Translate requirements and functional specifications into technical specification's documentation.

+ Conduct design reviews, code reviews as per established SDLC guidelines.

What we need to see:

+ 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP analysis, design, and programming experience developing custom SAP solutions with minimum 5 years of experience working with Sales and Distribution team with in-depth technical understanding of the module

+ Bachelors or higher Degree in related field (or equivalent experience).

+ Proficiency in conventional ABAP development tools and techniques including but not limited to Classic ABAP programming, ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, IDocs, SAPScripts, Smartforms, Web-Dynpro, Web Services, Workflows, User Exits / BADIs / Enhancements.

+ Working experience in OData, SAPUI5, Fiori and Screen Personas, SAP certification is helpful.

+ Deep understanding of SAP Authorizations.

+ Ability to understand functional specifications and convert them to technical specifications, come up with estimates based on various levels of specifications at various stages of a project and accomplish tasks within estimated time targets.

+ Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Debug, tune and optimize programs for performance.

+ Ability to document / explain / escalate issues appropriately through to the Management.

+ Experience with working in a distributed multiple SAP systems landscape.
