Job description:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 10+ Years of relevant experience.
• Preferably 2 end to end implementation of SAP MM/WM experience required .
• Min 8 years of SAP WM experience preferably in Manufacturing company with preferably min 3 years of domain experience
• Prior experience in having worked on RF developments is necessary
• Should have experience in Business functions for Discrete industry like Equipment /Plastic
• Independently able to provide solutions to complex business requirements under SAP MM and SAP-WM purview
• Should be well versed in hands on configuration of SAP-MM and SAP WM
• Well versed in preparing technical documentations (Business Blueprint, Functional Specification, Configuration, Unit Test, User Training, UAT Documents etc.)
• Should be an excellent team player and be able to manage work for offshore resources towards project deliverables
• Should have data migration and Cut over data experience
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an SAP SCM Consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells, leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM's offerings and technologies. A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems. In this role you will be expected to provide expert level business process guidance on Navy ERP's SAP requirements and design. You will need to utilize your experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP APO to execute demand forecasting and supply planning to drive recommendations for buy-repair plans, disposals, and redistribution of assets from one stock location to another.

Your primary responsibilities include:

* Provide SCM expertise to confirm/develop business requirements definition in support of upgrade.
* Provide configuration, data migration, interface, and functional support as necessary.
* Lead design of SCM interfaces, conversion programs, reports, and enhancements.
* Develop and maintain systems documentation including business process procedures, functional design specifications, process flows, and test cases.
* Support development of training work products and respond to trainer questions.
* Define user authorization requirements.
* Provide help desk support, assisting and resolving end user support problems, resolving CO defects ('break/fix'), and analyzing proposed improvements or changes to the Navy ERP CO solution and system.
* Prepare/conduct briefings, demos or training sessions as needed.

If you are hired into a Colorado or Ithaca, NY work location, the compensation range for this position is between $105,000 and $162,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

* Advanced SAP consulting experience with the ability to provide technical expertise in designing, configuring and customizing within SAP SCM supply planning functionality.
* Must have OEM experience with the Reorder Point Time-Adjusted Requirements (REPTAR) planning solution, including an in depth understanding of the internal design of the (REPTAR) planning module to deliver a supply planning solution for Non-Forecastable/Levels Sustainment materials in Navy ERP.
* Possess Subject Matter Expert experience in one or more functional/module area.
* Requires strong organization and communication skills.
* Ability to possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
* Experience in software development lifecycle surrounding requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, test (unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance), implementation, and postproduction support of standard and custom business solutions supporting various SAP modules, such as SCM (in a Tier 3 environment).
* Federal government project experience required
* Ability to earn a DoD Secret clearance.
* A bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of expertise. Additional relevant experience may be substituted for the degree.

* APO experience
* Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix
* Customer service experience with the ability to provide responsiveness and sound customer handling skills
* DoD project experience

Client has engaged Deloitte Consulting to Modernize, Transform and run Client's critical IT infrastructure and applications. Deloitte Consulting will plan, design and migrate Client's infrastructure to cloud and then provide Infrastructure and Application Management Services.
Work You'll Do/Responsibilities:

• Analyze the issues related to SAP PP and QM reported by business users through incident tickets and resolve the issues as per the defined SLAs• Perform Root Cause Analysis of problem tickets and identify opportunities for value enhancement and provide solution• Coordinate with Business and Functional team to gather requirements and prepare technical specification document for new enhancements and Change requests.• Play an important role in the development, configuration, testing and deployment of the overall solution.• Responsible for taking the development activities through the complete SDLC following the client's project methodology and as per the Release management processes.• Guide team members on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

+ In-depth knowledge and experience in all SAP PP & QM processes - S&OP, Long Term Planning, MPS/MRP, Data Management, Shop Floor Control, Quality Planning, Assurance and Control.

+ At least 4 years of relevant SAP PP/QM Consulting or Industry experience.

+ Hands-on functional configuration and design experience.

+ Full life cycle project implementation experience.

+ Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.

+ Limited Sponsorship may be available.

+ Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Certification in SAP PP and QM.

+ Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes using traditional & hybrid-agile methodology.

+ Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
