Job Purpose
The Hybrid Consultant, Independent RIA for the WA, ID, MT, ND, SD, UT, WY and MO territory is responsible for developing and implementing a business plan to achieve sales goals by covering a defined geographic territory as the sole wholesaler in the Independent Registered Investment Advisor market. This position can work from the Jackson office located in Nashville, TN, can be located within the territory or can work fully remote if the location meets guidelines.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Develops, implements and executes strategic business plan targeting a specific set of advisors within the territory in order to attain sales growth objectives.Cultivates new business relationships within the territory through consistent review of the territory execution plan to ensure targets are attained and adjustments made when necessary.Operates in a “hybrid” wholesaling capacity which entails spending up to 25% of time in the field, running “video” virtual meetings, and engaging with advisors through traditional avenues such as telephone, email, and virtual meetings.Utilizes a data-driven approach and tools to educate Financial Advisors on Jackson's products and services.Conducts product and sales training through individual and group training sessions, seminars, workshops, and branch meetings.Plans and manages the deployment of resources to maximize territorial sales while being responsible for budgeting and expenses.Maintains knowledge of new, existing and enhanced Jackson products and marketing campaigns.Utilizes CRM system and additional technology in order to accomplish a data driven territory business plan. Shares market feedback from advisors on advisory trends and product needs to assist in the business development and product development process.Attends regional and national industry trade shows and conferences, as needed.

Other duties
Plans and executes additional projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively in a challenging environment.Ability to create and deliver effective presentations, seminars, workshops and office meetings to current and prospective advisors.Thorough knowledge of sales and marketing principles and practices. Ability to identify and position Jackson products and services utilizing financial planning tools and platforms commonly used by independent RIAs.Proven track record of growing and managing a territory as measured by sales and persistency of activity.Strong aptitude for technology, including software applications, e-mail and database management from remote locations.Demonstrated excellent prospecting skills.Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or related work experience required.3+ years of sales experience in advisory, investments, mutual funds, insurance, or annuities required. Experience in marketing advisory, investments, annuities, and life insurance to advisors. FINRA Series 6/7 and 63 registrations and state insurance license required. Additional registrations as necessary due to changes in regulatory requirements.Preferably possesses or is actively pursuing industry designations or advanced degree. (CFA, CFP, CIMA, etc) Prior insurance or investment wholesaling experience is preferred.

The Business Warehouse/Business Intelligence (BW/BI) Architect will be accountable for the overall Solution Architecture of these platforms.

The BW/BI Architect will be responsible for ensuring that the architecture of the solutions will be appropriate to the business requirements and will ensure that they are compliant with industry best practices.

The BW/BI Architect must be able to identify opportunities to maximize the use of operational and analytical information delivery tools and processes in response to business dynamics and market opportunities with an emphasis on SAP related solutions.

The role also requires excellent client management and team management skills, including virtual team management, cross-vendor management and matrix team management. The role also requires a strong set of leadership skills with a proactive and participative management style.

The BW/BI Architect must also be able to manage and continuously improve support and enhancement processes and deliverables related to information delivery.
Job Function


Requirements Management

Identify long term data and information needs and provide a recommendation for the delivery of information to the enterprise – whether they are operational, analytical or strategic solutions. Participate in requirements, design, development and testing where needed Define future end-state solutions in response to business dynamics, needs and opportunities Participate and contribute to development and management work plans. Improve and streamline processes regarding the display, delivery and use of information Create and manage a regular process to monitor and report on relevant statistics.

Technical Architecture

Accountable for the BW/BI Solution Architecture, stability and sustainability. Develop and maintain the overall technical architecture and standards for SAP Business Information Warehouse and Business Objects BI platform Develop and maintain a logical data model Responsible in providing SAP architectural guidance and provide technical assistance for the design, build, and test of content deployed through the SAP BI/BOBJ 4.1 SP7, SAP BW 7.4 Work from the functional/business requirements to architect BW objects like info objects, business content, info sources, data targets, transfer rules, update rules, etc. Implement solution design best practices, leveraging all available tools Assess and manage BW/BI performance optimization efforts. Contribute toward the company’ s drive to move towards more analytical self-service/ad hoc reporting capabilities. Prepare industry standard, appropriate documentation and ensure that new functionality is properly transitioned to reporting users.


Support Management

Partner with the different IT groups in resolving incidents if an escalation is required from the level 1 support team Create and manage a regular process to monitor and report on relevant statistics Identify opportunities to improve on services related to Information Delivery


Education


Bachelor' s degree in Business (or Management), Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required



Required:


At least 10 years of demonstrable experience in Information Delivery and Datawarehousing with a focus on Architecting SAP Solutions (SAP BW on HANA and BO reporting) based on industry standard best practice Significant and recent experience in the use and management of SAP Netweaver tools including HANA Live, Fiori, Business Warehouse, Business Objects 4.1 and other related tools (for example Infoburst, APOS, etc.) Significant and recent experience in the use of a data discovery/visualization tool (e.g. Qlik, Tableau, Lumira) Experience in the creation and defense of business cases for information delivery implementations, working in partnership with the business sponsors Excellent and demonstrable client communication and partnership skills Proven track record of developing and managing multiple information delivery projects and deliverables in parallel Executive-level written and verbal presentation skills, with superior meeting facilitation capabilities Ability to interact with and regularly engage executive sponsors and other project stakeholders to identify concerns, overcome resistance, gain buy-in, and act as a change agent Ability to anticipate risks and issues, escalate to senior management and facilitate decision-making to balance business needs versus technical constraints Strong analytical skills Effective interpersonal skills with ability to participate in and lead virtual teams and partner with matrix teams Strong process orientation with significant attention to detail

Recent experience in the use of mobile BI and embedded BI(e.g. inside a CRM solution) Significant and recent experience in utilizing master data management concepts At least 5 years of experience in Team Management At least 3 years of experience in Budget Creation, Management and Control Business Process knowledge in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and/or Finance a plus Experience as a BW Architect and/or a BO Administrator

• Supply Chain Functional consultant with SAP SD and Logistics background with strong EDI background in the area of Supply Chain

• Knowledge of supply chain processes in minimum one industry type preferably Manufacturing, if not Automotive or Retail or Life Sciences

• EDI / XML technical/business experience in IDOC formats, BAPIs, BDC, mapping, X12 code usage, data transfer protocols

• Should be able to work with EDI integration team on EDI message for Orders, Order Acknowledgements, ASNs, Invoice etc. and should have worked on mapping Standard IDOCs for sales order processing including but not limited to transactions: 830, 850,855, 856, 810

• Experience working with a technical development team for implementation and support of enhanced SAP functionalities

• Strong understanding of integration between various SAP modules is required Good work experience with SmartForms, SAPScripts, EDI, LSMW, BAPIs, BADIs, IDOCs, ABAP Queries

• MUST have extensive experience as an SAP SD/LE Functional Consultant using ECC 6.0

The must-have skill sets

• Order Management , Availability Check , Delivery Process, Picking, Packing & PGI, Delivery, Handling Unit Outputs

• IDOCs/Interfaces

• Data maintenance related to Customer Master, Serial Number update, Material Master, etc.

• Experience in developing new reports, new transactions and tables and interfaces

• Can perform detailed design analysis by understanding the companys business requirements and business processes

• Expertise on preparation and Analysis of Functional Requirement Specification.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Proven ability to work in both independent and team environments

• Should be able to work with the business resources for testing and transition
