As a Production Attendant you will prepare packaging in accordance with customer specifications, company policy, and GMP's. You are also responsible for maintaining accurate records, adhering to all safety measures, and the efficiency of the cheese packaging process. How You Will Make Contributions That Matter: Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures including but not limited to, GMP, SOP, HACCP, SSOP, and H&S. Efficiently package cheese into desired packaging material. Identify and communicate any out-of-spec product conditions; follow the established notification protocol. Assist in the set-up of the packaging process, to include machinery, date code printers, computers, product labels, proper vat selection, added ingredients, etc. Quality checks to assure product is packaged according to customer specifications on production sheet (price/date/label/packaging). Ability to read and comprehend production worksheets. Keep work area neat, clean, and organized at all times. Make productive use of down time. Attends various mandatory safety and departmental meetings. Able to rotate into all positions on the line. Box and palletize boxes according to instructions: ensuring accurate counts and proper identification. Sanitize lines when needed.
