This position is responsible for continuously improving plant food safety systems with emphasis on microbiological control programs and procedures with a goal of helping facilities reduce environmental pathogen findings. This position supports plant operation teams in multiple facilities, the Regional Corporate Food Safety Manager and Food Safety Compliance Manager to assure compliance with corporate food safety/quality systems and external agency food safety regulations.

Review and revise existing corporate food safety systems with a focus on system controls and records.
Oversee and Train plants on implementation of EMP program
Designs, Develops and Maintains Environmental Monitoring Program and reporting
Designs, Develops and Oversees implementation of Food Safety risk assessment reporting
Designs, Develops and Oversees implementation of new food safety/quality training materials in Alchemy
Develop new food safety / food quality systems related to all aspects of food safety as required to comply with corporate mandates and regulatory requirements.
Work directly with each plant Operations and QA team to assure proper implementation of Food Safety Systems as they pertain to Controls and records.
Manage Corporate Environmental Pathogen Monitoring Data and prepare trending reports for the Regional Quality Assurance Manager, the Director of Food Safety and VP of Food Safety and QA.
Review and assist with Plant QA Environmental Monitoring Program, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions.
Audit plant Food Safety equipment systems on a routine basis to assure compliance to policies and regulations.
Participate, track and review results for Corporate sponsored “Swabathons”.
Develop and review SSOP's for Continuous Improvement of Food Safety programs.
Work directly with each plant Operations and QA team to assure proper implementation of Food Safety Systems.
Provide guidance and direct appropriate corrective actions associated with food safety and regulatory non-compliance at the plants.
Monitor food safety risk indicators at each plant and provide assistance to plant operations in the mitigation of risk through continuous improvement.
Provide detailed written and oral reports to plant managers and corporate leadership team members as necessary to assure full communication of plan gaps and risks, mitigation, compliance and overall status.
Provide feedback in Continuous Improvement efforts involving the plant food safety plan verification activities
Develop a rapport with Saputo Sanitation Managers and Chemical provider representative to assure sanitation needs are being met.
Maintain knowledge and proper interpretation of current regulations pertaining to Regulatory Compliance as it pertains to Food Safety (EPA, FDA, USDA, and plant State Regulations) to assure the company's systems are appropriate and will provide compliance.
Participate with regulatory and industry trade organizations to promote company views, improve industry food safety systems and understand the implications of food safety regulations. (IDFA, NCIMS, etc.)
Participate in regular Food Safety Audits and assist in in-plant validation of Food Safety Preventive Controls
Develop, manage and disseminate Plant Allergen Program Training
Develop, manage and disseminate Plant Environmental Control Training
Develop, manage and disseminate Plant Sanitation Training
Participate in Equipment Review/Challenge Studies
Assist in information gathering and reporting of Food Safety Incidents
Assist in dissemination of Plant GMP Training and Behavioral Based Food Safety Programs
You are best suited for the role if you have the following experience, skills, and qualifications
Degree: BS in Food Science or other applicable technical field
Exposure and knowledge of; Food Safety Systems, CFR, PMO, FSMA, SQF, HACCP, GMP's
Prefer 3 years' experience with food manufacturing products including milk and milk products
Prefer experience with food manufacturing sanitation, including MSS and sanitary maintenance
Prefer technical writing experience, specifically policies and standard operating procedures
Prefer experience in aseptic low acid food processing and regulatory requirements associated with LACF
Prefer multiple plant responsibility/oversight
Prefer experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance
FSPCA PCQI Trained Individual required; Lead Instructor Qualification preferred

The Material Handler in Franklin WI will be a key stakeholder for a new 340,000 square foot conversion facility and will play an integral part of Saputo's strategy to optimize its cheese network in North America. The Maintenance Supervisor in Franklin WI will be a key stakeholder for a new 340,000 square foot conversion facility and will play an integral part of Saputo's strategy to optimize its cheese network in North America. The Maintenance Supervisor directly supervises maintenance employees on assigned shifts to ensure the effective delivery of maintenance services and support production in a 24-hour 7-day per week operation. Maintain current technical documentation on Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs), instrumentation, and equipment (PLC ladder logic, blueprints, manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintenance procedures, Preventive Maintenance (PM) program), inventory/parts purchasing.
Share “best practices” within the Maintenance Department.
Monitor and enforce policies, plant rules and programs with employees, contractors, vendors, consultants, and suppliers (i.e. safety, food safety, regulatory, etc.).

As a Marketing Consumer Insights Intern you will conduct market research studies to extract meaningful insights and make recommendations based on customer's behaviors and needs.

Gather category, consumer, and shopper data to help identify opportunities to improve sales and/or category assortment using various databases including IRI, NCH, KWIKEE, Rapid Recall, Data Sync GS-1, Wal-Mart Retail Link, etc.

Complete a value-add projects for the category marketing team.

Performs trailer inspections for all inbound and outbound orders, ensuring that all trailers are properly secured before entering, temperature requirements are met, including food safety and quality regulations.
Responsible for loading and unloading of product through use of Radio Frequency scanners; accuracy, completeness of paperwork, and closely working with shift supervisor, quality control and inventory control to address any discrepancies or issues with each load.
Correctly receives product from incoming purchase orders or intra company stock transfers, ensuring correct case counts, code date, pallet count and condition, and recording of any damages resulting from transit.
Responsible for the overall quality of outbound shipments, correct weight distribution within trailers, accuracy and compliance.
Put-away of received product into storage location, replenishment of pick locations and full pallet picking for customer orders.
Completes daily Powered Industrial Truck Inspection, ensuring safe operation and reporting any concerns to maintenance personnel or shift supervisor.

The Production Manager in Franklin WI is a key operations stakeholder for a new 340,000 square foot conversion facility and will play an integral part of Saputo's strategy to optimize its cheese network in North America. How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:
Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems.
Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.
Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment, to include but not limited to: hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors, gearboxes, VFD/HMI/Servo control devices, conveying systems, industrial printers, valves, photo eyes, switches, heat exchangers, level controls.
Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
As applicable refer to blueprints and manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery.
Operate and support industrial, refrigeration, boiler and utility operations.
Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment.
Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators.
Enter codes and instructions to program computer-controlled machinery.
Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment (planned and unplanned maintenance activities).
Respond to production needs as they occur on the production floor.
Complete accurate and timely documentation of maintenance records, work orders and task records.
Accurately input and record PM (planned and unplanned activities into SAP or other MIS/ERP system.
Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
Comply with federal, state and local safety regulations.
Follow SQF and Company GMP and 5S guidelines to produce a safe and quality product
Adhere to the Saputo code of ethics and actively apply the Saputo values.
Work together professionally in a team environment with coworkers and other department personnel.
Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have The Following Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
1-2 year(s) prior industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing environment .
High school diploma or equivalent, is preferred
Industrial ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler and utility experience.
Ability to utilize computer-based maintenance planning/PM ERP platforms, SAP a plus.
Ability to trouble-shoot electrical, hydraulic systems and pneumatic equipment.
Strong electrical background in addition to mechanical skills. Experience with computerized or automated controls and ability to read electric schematics a plus.
Self-motivated detail-oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work any shift, including overtime and weekends.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrates professionalism and positively represents and promotes Saputo at all times.
Position Physical Requirements
Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to: noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, humid), standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift.
Physical lifting up to 40-lbs unassisted frequently throughout the shift.
Working with chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment, and following approved chemical handling procedures.
Good visual acuity with the ability to distinguish colors. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Fine manipulation and hand dexterity, including ability to grip and squeeze; handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), to include bump cap, hearing, and eye protection. This also include additional PPE requirements as defined for the position activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Supply Chain Interns at Saputo assist in various supply chain departments: Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, Transportation/Logistics, Production Planning, Customer Service or Cheese Procurement. While working as a Supply Chain Inters you will be tasked with identifying and supporting the implementation of cost reduction, network optimization, and process improvement opportunities.
How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:
Everyday Support of the Department
Contribute to the success of the department by planning for SKUs, routes, categories, or distribution centers.
Provide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to leadership.
Identify and communicate risk (over/shorts/delays) to key stakeholders.
Contribute to the business by completing one to three projects. As an example:
Evaluate network layout considering ordering quantities, distribution footprint, warehouse costs, transportation costs, and other factors to provide recommendations on optimization of the supply chain. Recommendations will consider such topics as sourcing flows, stocking points, purchase schedules, etc.
Evaluate customer order patterns, shelf life, lead time, and other factors to establish default stocking recommendations. This will include recommending make to order or make to stock; further clarification of make to stock will include target quantities (quantity or time based). Additional expansions of the project may include target reorder quantities.
You Are Best Suited for The Role If You….
Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Statistics/Mathematics, or Industrial Engineering.
Are excellent in analytical and data management skills (Statistical Analysis).
Have familiarity with supply chain concepts and software.
Have familiarity with operational planning & scheduling.
Possess intermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, if/then).
Have previous SAP experience (preferred).
Are self-motivated, able to multi-task, can work independently, and as part of a team.

The Sanitation Manager in Franklin WI will be a key stakeholder for a new 340,000 square foot conversion facility that is slated to open in 2023 and will play an integral part of Saputo's strategy to optimize its cheese network in North America. How you will make contributions that matter...
Manage and oversee facilities' CIP and COP systems.
Ensure optimization of chemical usage by managing and maintaining chemical inventory, ordering and usage.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with chemical vendors and suppliers to negotiate services and maintain optimum external support of the facilities.
Manage and monitor plant effluent.
Manage and monitor waste recovery and water for optimization.
Monitor daily readings of water and effluent.
Develop and lead a Wastewater Team and their related activities.
Troubleshoot concerns all areas of responsibility, identifying, and implementing necessary and appropriate corrective measures.
Provide awareness and training on new chemicals, processes and handling procedures introduced for all appropriate personnel.
Communicate effectively with Operations, Quality, Environmental and other internal and external teams.
Understand federal, state, and local regulatory compliance issues within the dairy industry in the areas of chemicals, effluent, etc. (e.g. USDA, FDA, CDFA, OSHA, CalOSHA, EPA).
Comply with and enforce the Company's policies and programs with vendors.

have at least five (5) years of related experience within Dairy, Food, and/or Beverage.
have a bachelor's degree in Dairy Technology or another related field.
have strong knowledge of and experience with CIP systems.

are comfortable working in a team environment as well as independently, demonstrating good time management, organizational skills, and communication skills when working across the organization.
