What You'll Do
Core Accounting
Own full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.

Maintain and enforce accounting policies, internal controls, and GAAP compliance.
Prepare and review financial statements, dashboards, and weekly reporting.
Operational Finance
Partner with Supply Chain on inventory management, costing, landed cost accuracy, and inventory turns.
Support Sales with margin analysis, pricing updates, and commercial reporting.
Conduct variance analysis for COGS, freight, tariffs, and departmental spending.
Maintain rolling cash flow forecasts and assist with banking/loan compliance reporting.

What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred but not required).
Minimum 5 years experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-channel businesses.
Required: Hands-on NetSuite experience (minimum 1-2 years of daily use).
Strong understanding of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and revenue streams.

Job Description:
The Grounds Associates are responsible for the overall upkeep of all the landscaping and grounds of Rocky Fork Ranch.
Duties:
Greet all guests with a positive attitude and well-groomed appearance, a smile, and proper uniform.
Follow all guidelines and procedures regarding the handling of all tools, equipment, and chemicals.
Mow & trim all grass areas.
Keep all bushes and trees trimmed and in neat appearance.
Make and meet goals set by yourself and supervisor.
Effectually communicate with your supervisor and fellow staff members.
Qualifications:
General knowledge of mowing and trimming of grass.
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

What Success Looks Like:
Maintain and monitor all financial control systems to assure continued compliance with Quanex policies, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and other applicable accounting standards and principles and Sarbanes-Oxley.
Liaise with the Akron shared service center and IG plant accountant to ensure the above is achieved. QCM is a single plant location.
Participate with the divisional leadership team to help define and highlight business issues, risks, and opportunities, for use in strategic decision making and planning.
Provide guidance to management in the evaluation, definition and implementation of short- and long-term financial needs and goals for the organization and individual departments.
Coordinate the flow of financial information between the plant and Quanex.
Lead the flow of financial information to ensure that the financial reporting systems are objective, relevant, timely and understandable by the stakeholders.
Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, interpret and prepare recommendations regarding monthly/quarterly/full year reporting.
Forecast/Budget and Strategic plan processes, acquisition activity, governmental requirements, and new business opportunities.
Review all journal entries, account reconciliation, Sox documentation, tax returns.
Monitor actual capital expenditures against the approved budget, identifying and reporting significant variances to management.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports to divisional and corporate management on the status of capital projects, including budget adherence and forecast updates
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Operations, Engineering, and Procurement, to support CapEx initiatives.
Support the preparation of capex submissions.
Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA preferred
Five or more years of finance experience with five or more years demonstrating progressive responsibilities
Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
Large ERP system experience preferred.
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and statements. Professional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills, and attention to detail
Experience in manufacturing accounting
Knowledge of SOX preferred but not required.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Proficient will all Microsoft Office products; advanced Microsoft Excel skills
The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $135,000 with the potential to earn a bonus at a target of 15% of your eligible earnings.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly-motivated, detail-oriented team member to support client-driven projects using necropsy and histology techniques. The successful candidate will perform necropsy laboratory procedures, including but not limited to tissue collection/preservation, tissue trimming and weighing, and data entry, all in compliance with appropriate SOP, Protocol, and Regulatory Agency guidelines. In support of Histology, team member may also trim, embed, cut, and stain collected tissues, all in compliance with appropriate SOP, Protocol, and Regulatory Agency guidelines.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), Health & Safety standards and department policies/procedures in the performance of all duties.
Observe all safety procedures and working methods by making proper use of protective clothing and equipment and by reading, understanding, and following all safety documents.
Successfully complete necessary tasks involved in animal necropsy and tissue trimming: proper dissection and collection of samples, organ weights and verification, laboratory preparation, and preparation of laboratory solutions.
Provide support in the histology lab in trimming, processing, embedding, cutting, and staining collected tissues.
Maintain the laboratory equipment in a clean and safe operating condition and maintain a clean and safe work area.
Maintain logs and collect data according to GLP guidelines to a high degree of accuracy.
Education and Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, or Associate Degree/Certification in Histology, Laboratory Animal Technology, or Veterinary Technology (or related) is preferable, but not required.
An equivalent amount of education and/or experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education.
Willing to train individual with correlating background, education, or skills.
Highly desirable to have experience with necropsy procedures and/or working in a histology laboratory, preferably with multiple species.
Proven ability to successfully work in a team environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to work in a laboratory setting with laboratory animals and chemicals.
Basic computer knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Office), corresponding with essential functions of accurately reading and recording data.
Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds on occasion.
Must be able to tolerate strong odors.
