Department Healthcare Foundation Serves as a key support role working closely with other staff members to further the mission and goals of the Healthcare Foundation, while serving as the first impression to all guests, visitors, and callers, as well as engaging with staff, donors, volunteers, and hospital employees to advance philanthropic relationships, assist in coordinating fundraising activities, and provide day-to-day administrative support for the Healthcare Foundation. The role provides primary telephone coverage, greets visitors, and manages daily administrative functions such as preparing bank deposits, processing mail, maintaining supplies, and supporting the finance team with data entry, invoices, credit cards, reimbursements, and reconciliations. It also assists with maintaining spreadsheets, vendor documentation, and financial records as directed by the Director of Finance & Operations. This position supports donor relations by responding to inquiries, preparing proposals and impact reports, and cultivating positive relationships to ensure donor stewardship best practices are followed. The role also supports grant activities by maintaining grantee data, gathering documentation, and assisting with communications to enhance the Foundation's community impact.
Required Qualifications
* Require an Associate's Degree with one (1) to (2) years of not-for-profit related experience, or equivalent combination. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Provides support in completing application and enrollment documents.
2. Reviews student applications by analyzing credentials, computing GPAs, reviewing support documents such as transcripts, and preparing application packages for admissions decisions.
3. Contacts prospective students to present information and/or explain available programs and services. Communicates with prospects about admission requirements, program offerings, and/or curriculum, by telephone or email.
4. Collaborates with admissions colleagues, academic advisers, financial aid officers, and residential life personnel to create an effective yield team and ensure a smooth transition from inquiry to enrolled student status.
5. Participates in on-campus promotional activities, including conferences, educational fairs, career days, open houses, campus tours, or special events to present programs to prospective students.
6. Inputs status of significant admission decisions into database.
7. Sorts or classifies information according to guidelines, such as content, purpose, user criteria, or chronological, alphabetical, or numerical order.
8. Compiles, sorts, and verifies the accuracy of data before it is entered.
9. Sets up and manages paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as correspondence, or other material.
10. Compares data with source documents, or re-enters data in verification format to detect errors.
11. Stores complete documents in appropriate locations.
12. Inputs data, such as file numbers, new or updated information, or document information codes into computer systems to support document and information retrieval.
13. Locates and corrects data entry errors or reports them to supervisors.
14. Prepares responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries. Answers questions about records or files.
15. Keeps records of materials filed or removed, using logbooks or computers and generate computerized reports.
16. Performs administrative duties, including but not limited to answering phones, greeting visitors, handling mail collection and distribution, ordering and dispensing supplies, proofreading, or transcribing documents, among others.
17. Maintains student data integrity and confidentiality.

Our urgent care centers are open 7 days a week, 8am-8pm. Evenings, weekends and holidays are required. Additionally, shifts can vary from 8 hour shifts to 10 and 12 hour shifts. Flexibility to work at all 7 of our urgent care locations is also required, however schedule location preferences will be taken into consideration.

Primary Purpose:
Researches and analyzes outstanding student account balances and advises prospective and current students, their families, and the NSU community regarding payment options and provides training to Financial Aid and Academic Records (FAAR) staff to ensure accurate information is received in a timely manner to reduce accounts receivables.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Researches and analyzes outstanding student account balances to ensure that payment information is accurate and adjustments are made accordingly.
2. Advises prospective and current students, their families, and the NSU community regarding payment options and Bursar policies and procedures to ensure accurate information is disseminated and to prevent an increase in accounts receivables.
3. Processes specialized billing, invoices, and receipts to ensure students are able to receive funds from appropriate parties.
4. Processes, tracks, and maintains records of payments and charges to ensure that student accounts are accurate.
5. Issues refunds to students and third-party vendors/agencies to ensure that excess payments are sent to appropriate parties in a timely manner.
6. Reviews data and corrects discrepancies to ensure student's account information is accurate and appropriate holds are applied.
7. May provide training to new ESS staff relating to student accounts processes to ensure employees are properly trained.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
