Department FPG Central Billing Office Identifies and applies appropriate ICD-10 diagnostic and CPT procedural codes to individual patient health information for claims processing, data retrieval and analysis. Responsible for patient financial related activities, which includes accurate entry of insurance benefits, authorizations and other activities which ensures complete and accurate claims.

Required Qualifications

The American Osteopathic Association (AOA) has two 100% remote 10-week summer research internship positions opening up. The internships are an opportunity to gain hands-on experience by assisting in research projects, engaging in literature reviews, data collection, data analysis, reporting, and potentially contributing to conference presentations and/or publications.
The Intern Research Associate program at the AOA is for those currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in fields such as psychometrics, measurement, statistics, l/O psychology, or data science. This fully remote 10-week internship beginning June 2026 involves working closely with experienced psychometricians and assessment experts. Interns will gain hands-on experience with AOA data and research projects that support the organization's mission of advancing the distinctive philosophy and practice of osteopathic medicine. The Certifying Board Services (CBS) department serves 73 certification and certificate programs across 15 specialty certifying boards.
Interns will work and collaborate with the psychometric and assessment teams of the CBS department to support the AOA's research agenda. The role provides an opportunity to support operational and research initiatives and offers practical experience in certification testing. Research topics may include exam design and development, administration and supportive validity studies for our certification and osteopathic continuing certification exams.
Responsibilities
Interns will work closely with the psychometric and assessment teams to develop a research plan for the internship.
Over the 10 weeks, interns will attend weekly meetings with their supervisor to discuss progress and address questions, and with one or more research project teams to discuss ongoing work.
Activities may include conducting and writing literature reviews, data gathering/cleaning, programming in R or Python, item and exam analyses with CTT and IRT, performing statistical analyses such as DIF or regression analysis, writing reports, and delivering presentations.
At the conclusion of the internship, all files and equipment will be returned to the AOA.

DUTIES AND TASKS:
After the Enrollment Counselor achieves initial contact with prospective students they continue to counsel and educate them through the entire enrollment process. As the primary contact, the Enrollment Counselor is responsible for a positive new student experience by building a relationship with the student and answering questions regarding degree requirements, program research, policies, and procedures.

This position will provide specialized functions for the USF Health College of Pharmacy, Graduate Programs. This position will perform a variety of academic functions to support the office and clerical functions of the program, students, and faculty.
Minimum Qualifications:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with four years of experience in office or administrative positions. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Canvas LMS and other educational technology as well as the Microsoft Office suite

Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule all courses in classrooms and labs by working with shared spaces in MDD and the north campus (includes Integration, Progression Exams, and other practice license exams). Address room/schedule change requests from faculty during the semesters. Work with the Curriculum Committee to assist with scheduling issues and contribute to alignment meetings to ensure any changes are made to the schedule, avoiding schedule conflicts or inaccuracies. Attend Student Affairs student huddles to listen to student concerns, answer OAA-related questions, and relay concerns to the OAA team.
Point of contact to work with MDD building AV, facilities, and IT teams to troubleshoot and address classroom set-up issues and logistics. Point of contact to work with CACLS/HPC (Health Partnership Complex) and CAMLS. Collect, communicate, and address information that goes to CAMLS for space requests. Coordinate faculty planning meetings.
Coordination of OAA-related events (e.g. accreditation on-site visits, NAPLEX Advantage exam, Curriculum Committee alignment workshops, etc) including schedule, rooms/set up, logistics, coordinating lunch, operations on the day of the event, etc. Work on special projects for the ADAA such as performing research in the areas of curriculum (TCOP and peer institutions), accreditation, and policies/SOPs.
Preparation, submission, and creation of summary reports of budget information for OAA. Prepare and maintain internal accounting records and prepare a budget for future expenditure on events, conferences, office supplies, and other operations. Works directly with the Office of Research and Business on all duties related to fiscal and research administration.
Support the Curriculum Committee's administrative functions.

Qualifications
MINIMUM:

For Associate/Full Professor - Normally will have produced creative work, professional writing or research in refereed and other professional journals, and be a recognized authority in the field of specialization.
Must hold or be eligible for a full, unrestricted Florida Medical License or foreign equivalent required. To perform this position, the candidate will need to obtain and maintain a full un-restricted FL Medical License, maintain credentials in the USF Health faculty practice plan, and be a medical staff member in good standing at the hospitals he/she is assigned to perform clinical duties. The candidate will participate in the teaching of residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical medicine. Must be board-certified/eligible in Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease.
