This role offers a hybrid work arrangement. You'll spend three days a week in the office, giving you the flexibility to work remotely for two days.
As a Senior Planner/Scheduler you will apply your technical skills to meet project team and client needs for developing / maintaining project schedules and monitoring project performance. This work will include interfacing directly with project management, client management and site personnel for the development of detailed integrated schedules for the engineering, procurement and construction scopes of work associated with nuclear power generation projects. Using a variety of industry and proprietary software tools, including Primavera P6, and under the direction of the project lead, you will perform the following tasks:
Implement project controls tools and methodology
Develop and support project schedule requirements per client procedures and best practices
Perform critical path analysis, provide schedule insights and corrective actions when required
Support schedule contingency management, and work with key stakeholders to identify and manage project risks
Provide regular project updates and report deviations from the approved project baseline to the project team.
Support month end closing and phase gate processes
Ensure standardized file locations exist for all required schedule documents.
Produce look-ahead, actuals, and schedule quality reports
Assemble supporting documentation to meet project team and client requests/needs
Analyze data and build reports to support project monitoring and decision making
Interface regularly with project management to support monitoring schedule performance
There is the potential for you to travel to client office for project coordination meetings

Essential skills and experience:
Proficiency using Primavera P6 scheduling software, including resource loading experience
Familiarity with the practical application of project controls
7 or more years of project experience
Post-secondary graduate
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to interact and multitask with project team members, clients, and vendors of varying position levels.
Motivation: Eager to learn new skills and develop knowledge to add make a valuable impact to project team operation. Willing to engage with others to understand project team needs. Committed to deliver high quality, accurate deliverables with attention to detail.
Computer Skills: Working knowledge in MS Office tools, with emphasis on the advanced use of MS Excel and/or MS Access in creating detailed, interactive spreadsheets, workbooks, and databases.

Pay Range:
* Locations in WA, DC & Various CA, MA areas-$101,100.00 - $146,700.00 Annually
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

The selected candidate will be trained to complete aquatic resource delineations meeting agency requirements and to understand and help complete CWA Section 404 and 401 permits in Alaska and the western United States. The nuances of aquatic resource delineations will be explained and taught in order to become a competent aquatic resource delineator by knowing what a permitter requires in an application.
As an Environmental Scientist, you will work in a highly dynamic team environment with other biologists and ecologists, NEPA specialists, geologists, engineers, architects, environmental planners, and specialized regulatory permit experts.
This position will include opportunities for both field and office work. During the Alaskan winter it is primarily office based technical report writing mixed with GIS tasks. During the summer it is a mixture of field and office work. Summer field work may involve potential helicopter, boat, ATV or vehicle travel for up to two weeks at a time away from home. Field work is completed in teams with a technical field lead for safety and on the job training.
The position is a full-time, 12-month non-seasonal position, with regularly scheduled office hours in Anchorage. Part time remote work may be considered.

Stantec's Alaska environmental services, wetland (aquatic resources) group, is seeking an entry-level Environmental Scientist to support baseline environmental field surveys, reporting, and project permitting for our clients across diverse business sectors. The selected candidate will apply their interest in Alaskan ecology to be trained to complete field work, baseline and functional assessments, technical reports, and permitting on: wetlands, aquatic resources, vegetation, soils, streams, fish, birds, bats, wildlife, and endangered species. The selected candidate will be trained to complete aquatic resource delineations meeting agency requirements and to understand and help complete CWA Section 404 and 401 permits in Alaska and the western United States. The nuances of aquatic resource delineations will be explained and taught in order to become a competent aquatic resource delineator by knowing what a permitter requires in an application.
As an Environmental Scientist, you will work in a highly dynamic team environment with other biologists and ecologists, NEPA specialists, geologists, engineers, architects, environmental planners, and specialized regulatory permit experts.
This position will include opportunities for both field and office work. During the Alaskan winter it is primarily office based technical report writing mixed with GIS tasks. During the summer it is a mixture of field and office work. Summer field work may involve potential helicopter, boat, ATV or vehicle travel for up to two weeks at a time away from home. Field work is completed in teams with a technical field lead for safety and on the job training.

Qualifications
Essential skills and experience:

+ Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to interact and multitask with project team members, clients, and vendors of varying position levels.

Provides advanced modelling support to multidisciplinary teams engaged in the design and delivery of infrastructure and building projects. Leads the production and coordination of Building Information Modelling (BIM) outputs for design packages and construction documentation. Supports the application of BIM standards and best practices to ensure the accuracy and quality of project models and drawings. Assists with team mentorship, model integration, and issue resolution, contributing to the efficient execution of digital project deliverables and effective interdisciplinary collaboration.
**Your Impact**
The Intelligent Design Engineer will have the following roles and responsibilities:
+ Support team members in completing Intelligent Design/Graphic Work Design implementations through requirement gathering, system design, testing, training, deployment support
+ Work directly with clients and internal resources to lead the development of integrations for GIS and Enterprise applications (i.e., WMS, Document/File Management) with Intelligent Design solutions
+ Provide high quality (and timely) written and oral communications both internally and with clients
+ Proficient in working as part of a team, advising, and mentoring technical team members in utility knowledge, demonstrates patience and a desire to share knowledge
+ Proficient in working with clients by preparing and presenting virtual and in-person workshops, creating, and providing training, demonstrating constructive communication skills to elicit feedback, tactfully asking probing questions to gain further insight and guide team members to a successful project outcome
+ Has the ability, or is willing to learn, how to work with our clients to develop long term relationships and facilitate additional business

**Who You Are**
**Required Education/Experience:**
The Intelligent Design Engineer must have the following education, experience, skills, and knowledge:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Minimum of 9 years of relevant post-education experience in a related job capacity.
+ 3+ years of experience working with utility data and data modeling (electric, gas, water, wastewater, stormwater, fiber).
+ Experience viewing, creating, and configuring utility GIS data
+ Experience with performing GIS data migration and transformation utilizing standard tools (Esri Data Loading Tools, FME, Append, etc) and custom scripts (Python, SQL)
+ Experience with data integration including importing data from spreadsheets, databases, and geodatabases.
+ 3+ years of experience with Microsoft's office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
+ Requires excellent communication and organizational skills
+ Requires excellent problem-solving skills
+ Requires strong time management skills including the ability to multi-task on various projects and priorities under fixed schedules
