    As a Lab Technician in the production department, you will be responsible for conducting tests, measuring, recording and analyzing in cooperation with the rest of the lab team. As the holder of this position, you will have experience in a laboratory environment and accuracy in order to extract reliable and valid results. Work directly with a trainer or supervisor in learning and following detailed laboratory and manufacturing protocols under the guidelines of the site's ISO 9001 quality system certifications. Fabricate individual particles in accordance with ISO procedures and work instructions. One of your tasks will be to use various lab microscopes to quantify particles and to process or seed vials, ampoules and syringes for customer deliverables. Responsible for cleaning and inspection of equipment and many types of glassware/vessels (vials, syringes, etc.) used in various manufacturing procedures. Perform general laboratory procedures such as sample collection, solution preparation, calibrated fluid dispensing and assist with lab and equipment cleaning efforts. Keep organized and detailed records regarding manufacturing processes and products. Assist with inventory control functions, equipment maintenance and calibration records as required. Complies with all site policies such as record retention, ISO requirements, and accountable for good housekeeping in all laboratories. Complies with site safety/health procedures and guidelines as required. You must be able to lift 30-lbs when necessary.
