THIS IS A FULL-TIME EVENING POSITION, 12:00 PM-9:00 PM MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ON FRIDAYS Therapist REPORTS TO: Lead Therapist FLSA STATUS: Exempt EMPLOYEE LEVEL: 3 (Exempt - No Direct Reports) COMPENSATION: OVERVIEW: As a Therapist, you will have a primary role in the planning and delivery of evidence based treatment to a cohort of adult and/or adolescent patients with behavioral health disorders. You will conduct therapeutic sessions with individuals, groups, and families. You will use your understanding of different therapy modalities; motivational interviewing (MI); and the tenets of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) to help patients progress towards their goals and live out their best future. You will work closely with counselors, case managers, and the entire treatment team in a supportive, team-based approach that models collaborative, solution-based problem solving, and authentic communication. Responsible for providing residents with routine daily personal care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and plan of care as directed. Essential Job Functions 1. Provides personal care and activities of daily living (ADL's) care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. 2. Encourages resident to participate in activity programs and assists as needed. 10. Performs restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed. 11. Education and Experience Must possess a current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Alabama or obtain certification within 180 days of hire.
