I joined Scandinavian Tobacco Group in 2017 as Senior Vice President of Group HR & Communication with over 20 years of experience as a human resource professional across various industries.

I have over the last 25 years gained in-depth knowledge in all aspects of the People & Organisation agenda and excel in the areas of globalisation, digitalisation, diversity & inclusion, transformational leadership, strategic planning and execution, talent acquisition and succession planning, international business relations, executive office management and executive coaching.

Building on these strengths and competencies, I am drawn to ambitious and sustainable organisations with a global presence, low power distance and focused on implementing long-term, viable solutions to grow its business. That is why I joined Scandinavian Tobacco Group.

As the Chief HR Officer for the Group, I am part of the Executive Board and lead a team of ignited professionals as we transform the organisation to achieve our vision of becoming the undisputed leader in cigars and pipe tobacco.

Marianne works or has worked as Member Board of Directors at Kemp & Lauritzen A S and Member Board of Directors at Finanstilsynet. She attended Danish Audit Commission between 1995 and 1997, Handelshoejskolen I Koebenhavn, and Copenhagen Business School between 1990 and 1994.
