About the team & role
The Company Strategy & Operations team is responsible for designing and operating Stripe's company ‘operating system'. This involves designing and orchestrating long-range and annual planning, managing company and leadership operations including critical leadership forums, and undertaking cross-functional strategic projects that identifies new opportunities and improves how Stripe runs its business. The team works closely with every function across Stripe, acting as "conductors of the orchestra" to ensure coordinated efforts and strategic alignment.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work cross-functionally within our group and across Stripe's technical and user-facing teams to solve problems and design workflows that benefit our users. Specifically, you'll:
Play a leadership role in planning, guiding the short/medium/long term investments we make as a business and driving strategic clarity across the company
Work on cross-cutting company strategy projects and collaborate with teams to implement changes
Operate one or more of our senior leadership forums, setting the agenda and attention for Stripe's most senior leaders
Across the above, tackle a variety of ‘0 to 1' problems and incubate new teams/processes/solutions

Our operators participate in the robust manufacturing of titanium components that result in superior material properties and lowest cost, while adhering to all required processes and procedures, ensuring AS9100 and customer specifications are followed.
In a typical day, your expertise:
Prepares raw materials and production equipment to support the Production Team
Produces orders including monitoring and recording of the production process data
Participates in and/or perform quality control after instructions from QAM
Performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment
Assists or manages the handling of technical issues and problems related to production of parts
Inspects parts with precision and measuring tools; control and adjust machine settings as necessary
Tests operation of machines periodically
Carries out NTi supportive tasks given by manager
Ensures projects and tasks are executed within department budgets and performance, and ensure adherence to company goals, objectives and values

About this Role
FiberTel is looking for an HDD Operator for our Albuquerque, NM location.
A Successful HDD Operator is specially trained and has expertise in locating for horizontal/directional drill rigs and product support equipment. This individual will be primarily responsible for setting up and completing drilling variable-sized underground boreholes and pulling back the required conduit/pipe. As a Directional Driller/Equipment Operator, you are responsible for running various directional drilling equipment; Directional Drill, (Vermeer and/or Ditch Witch) Vac. Truck, Mud Truck, Excavator, Forklift, Dump truck, Locator, along with others not listed.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
All phases of telecommunication construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment.
Locate for Horizontal Directional Drill for installation of underground conduit and fiber optic cable.
Ensure safety of the public and other utilities underground facilities.
Operate Horizontal Directional Drill
Assist in potholing and remediation.
Assist with setting hand holes and completing tie-ins.
Ability to Read and Comprehend utility locates.
Set equipment up including the drill, water tanks and grounding the machine.
Ability to properly formulate and mix drilling mud for the site conditions.
Ability to perform proper reaming and pull back methods for existing conditions.

The outside work environment will vary throughout the day including changes in terrain, traffic, urban settings, and/or rural settings. This position may occasionally be exposed to natural gas and to the risk of electrical shock. Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels.
Physical Requirements:
The employee will need to have the ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours at a time), tolerate work in extreme weather conditions, speak and hear worksite safety instructions, withstand prolonged and repeated: lifting, standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching and feeling, crouching, and crawling.
