Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain. State-specific license or certification (as required). Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. How you'll contribute A Scheduler within the Advanced Surgery department, who excels in this role will schedule patient testing/procedures/admissions, obtains pre-cert/authorization numbers and enters in the registration system, obtains and enters accurate insurance information and answers incoming patient phone calls. Additional duties include: Informs patient or physician's office staff of any carrier that is out of network or any issue that may result in a decrease of benefits.
