The pros: endless opportunity to grow your business selling a great product and setting your own schedule. The readiness of the company managers to assist with technical issues and assist each customer on a personal basis is a huge plus. Everyone counts.
If you're willing to keep a schedule and service your accounts there are no cons.
Generous commissions and the year end bonus is a great income generator. The company meetings where info is shared on current and upcoming products are all paid for by Schaeffer with reimbursement for travel is included.
The availaility to speak with the CEO personally is unheard of in the industry today, but you can as a Schaeffer customer or Rep. The leadership teams are on a first name basis with all employees.
Schaeffer has a great Co. culture and requires that employees treat each other and all customers in such a way that friendly and prompt service is the #1 priority.
I set up a meeting with a district manager and he had me come to his house for a personal interview. I discussed my background amd prior work history etc, and was hired. The expected goals were explained very clearly and a territory was assigned.
I work on straight commission, so the compensation is an endless ladder.
There has never been an issue concerning this matter, in my 20 yrs with Schaeffer.
