While at QNX, he oversaw the market introduction of new operating system capabilities, such as power management, advanced graphics, and enhanced networking features. Before joining QNX, Mr. Lawande was responsible for development of networking and consumer electronics systems at corporate giants such as AT&T Bell Labs, U.S. Robotics, and 3Com. He was a key contributor to an array of leading-edge products, including the Total Control remote access server, U.S. Robotics Sportster modems, and 3Com's Ergo product line. Mr. Lawande has a wealth of experience in developing embedded systems and software.
