The Accelerated Leadership Program is comprised of four six-month rotations that provide cross-departmental exposure. Each rotation can be located at any of our facilities throughout the North American Region (USA, Mexico and Canada), including the possibility for other international rotations. Finance & Controlling Intern

We are currently in search of a Finance & Controlling Intern to join our Finance, Accounting & Controlling department of the Marquardt Group in our location Rochester Hills (USA).
The Finance & Controlling Intern will work ideally 20-40 hours per week depending on the student's school schedule. Position will be in person 2-3 days per week.
Essential Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly reconciliations and Journal Entries.
Assist with annual budget, annual audit and monthly financial reports.
Assist with project controlling support.
Assist with Accounts Payable support.
Assist with inventory cycle count process.
Assist with trade & traffic cost analysis.
Assist with special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Basic understanding of accounting.
Ability to interact/communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
Proficiency in computer skills including: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet.
General ledger and ERP experience (SAP) would be a plus but not required.
Physical Demands:
Ability to sit for extended periods.
Ability to occasionally stand and walk.
Ability to use close vision, color vision, and depth perception for extended periods.

Toyoda Gosei North America (headquartered in Troy, MI) has an opening for a Design Engineer in the
Interior/Exterior Plastics Engineering
department. The Design Engineer functions with a high degree of autonomy and is responsible for delivering professional level design and engineering for customers of Toyoda Gosei North America Corporation (TGNA) and TGNA Manufacturing Companies (NAMCs).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead product development efforts with customers and team members, negotiating designs and engineering requirements to meet quality, feasibility, cost, and profitability requirements
• Collaborate with design and engineering members to create 2/3D proposals for new product designs, delegate work, and manage design changes.
• Benchmark competitor components and emerging technologies; propose ways to increase competitiveness
• Serve as a SME on company resources for design, analysis, measurement, testing, & prototyping
• Provide technical reports on open items listing, and create presentation packages for internal/external customers
• Improve component designs and define new design guidelines to improve quality and productivity
• Create and maintain necessary procedures and records of product development in alignment with TG quality guidelines to ensure customer expectations are met
• Work with customers and internal groups to resolve functional component issues
• Participate in Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA); identify failure modes, complete fault tree analysis, and develop countermeasures & revised designs to meet updated requirements
• Develop new technology through internal and external collaboration and utilization of new and emerging technologies, with minimal guidance; and continuously seek to improve the product development process
• Develop new suppliers by assessing stability, reliability, cost effectiveness, and other key factors
• Serve as a SME for automotive part design and injection molding with the use of engineering logic and calculations to develop complex plastic components; resolve component issues prior to design release
• Drive optimization by being actively engaged in continuous improvement efforts
• Function in a highly collaborative environment where flexibility and teamwork is crucial to organizational success
Qualifications and Competencies
• Bachelor degree in Engineering; major in Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred
• Minimum of five years of experience designing and engineering plastic injection molded components
• Must possess knowledge of Plastic engineering design for automotive components, as well as geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), along with proficiency in tolerance stack-up studies
• Must possess knowledge of Injection tooling, processing requirements and Mold Flow CAE analysis
• Ability to interpret the CAE Analysis results and propose countermeasures is a plus
• Possessing knowledge of the design requirements for exterior paint, plating and mold-in-color material is a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of GD&T, CAD, and plastic component design and injection tooling fundamentals
