Warmly welcoming new families and getting them off to a good start - getting to know the students and their parents.
Setting up the pool deck area before each shift.
Documenting students' attendance for class and managing the students in and out of the water between classes.
Managing the progress reports for the swim students
Assisting our parents with questions they have about progress of their children.
Promoting referrals for new enrollments.
Supporting the aquatics team by being an active participant in the safety of our swimmers and assisting when needed with swimmers who need help during the lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

As a lifeguard you are responsible for the safety of everyone in and around the pool. You must remain alert throughout your entire shift, monitoring pool activities to enforce all safety guidelines. You will need a lifeguard and first aid/CPR certification and may need a pre-employment physical and skills test. You should be someone who is a rule follower with knowledge of rescue procedures and emergency medical procedures. As a lifeguard you will report to the Deck Supervisor or Site Supervisor during shifts and provide support throughout the pool deck as needed.We have a fun and rewarding work environment with a great atmosphere for someone who loves safety and being around water. As a Junior Maintenance Worker, you will be assisting technicians and engineers in a variety of mechanical and electrical tasks. You will be working around a large water tank in adverse weather conditions, so safety and attention to detail is extremely important. Communication with your immediate supervisor daily is imperative regarding work schedule, safety issues, repairs, and tasking. Under immediate supervision, you will work on a variety of straightforward jobs including but not limited to heavy lifting (e.g., moving furniture, equipment, and materials), operating a forklift and other machinery, building maintenance and upkeep, and other outside functions (e.g., pressure washing, weed whacking, snow plowing). Responsibilities will include driving and servicing various work-related vehicles, working from portable and stationary ladders, and working with various petroleum and chemical products (e.g., transferring liquids to and from storage tanks and assisting with water treatment testing).
Qualifications
* High School diploma
* 1-2 years of work experience
* Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
* Ability to pass a background check
* Ability to pass a drug test
Skills
* Experience maintaining equipment (e.g., completing basic repairs, working with hand and machine tools)
