Role SummaryAs a Territory Account Executive for the Mid-Market segment (251-2500 employees), you will be responsible for driving net-new, customer expansion business and managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while also collaborating with internal teams and channel partners to achieve sales goals. You will create and manage sales opportunities with territory prospects and existing customers to meet and exceed your individual contributor sales quota, working closely with presales engineering resources, product teams, customer and renewal sales representatives, and our network of channel partner resellers to maximize Sophos' business in your territory.What You Will Do
Sales Execution: Run the full sales process from prospecting to close, develop go-to-market strategies for new business, and maintain accurate forecasts through Clari.
Account Management: Drive adoption of Sophos solutions across mid-market accounts, conduct strategic reviews, and ensure successful customer experience.
Channel Collaboration: Strategize with channel teams and partners to drive net-new business, establish co-selling partnerships, and generate opportunities through partner referrals.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Work effectively with sales development, engineering, channel managers, and marketing teams to showcase our value while managing your territory like a CEO.
Accurate Forecasting: Know and understand your business deeply to drive accurate forecasting, ensuring visibility and predictability of territory performance against targets.
Pipeline Building Expectations: Responsible for generating and maintaining a healthy pipeline of new logo opportunities with a target ACV (Annual Contract Value) of the Mid-Market segment. Success in this role requires consistently building a pipeline of 3-4x quota. Pipeline metrics will be measured by total ACV, deal progression velocity, and conversion rates from prospect to customer.

In the United States, the base salary for this role ranges from $79,000 to $131,500. In addition to the base salary, there's a component for target sales commissions alongside a comprehensive benefits package. A candidate's specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

THE WORK

* Drafting physical layouts of printed circuit boards, derived from data provided by design engineers. Data typically is provided via circuit card schematics, sketches, drawings, written, and/or verbal communication as appropriate, in accordance with government and/or company standards and practices.
* Prepare drawing packages consisting of circuit card assembly drawing, parts list, printed wiring board detail drawing, schematic drawing, and electronic tooling data set.
* Operate interactive computer-graphic systems as required.
* Sign off drawing as person responsible for drafting accuracy and may check the quality and accuracy of drawings generated by other electrical drafting personnel. May direct work done on their assignment by other drafting personnel.

**About the Role:**
The Director, Technical Revenue and Assurance plays a key role on Confluent's Revenue Accounting leadership team. In this role, you will serve as one of the finance organization's subject matter experts on ASC 606, own the revenue policy framework and drive technical revenue conclusions. You will act as a strategic advisor to business partners across Accounting, GTM, Product, Legal, and FP&A, providing revenue recognition guidance across contract negotiations, new pricing and packaging initiatives, and new product introductions. You will also lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of strong technical acumen and a continuous improvement mindset.
The ideal candidate is an experienced CPA with at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience at either a Big 4 public accounting firm or a publicly traded, high-tech organization with a minimum of 3 years in a technical revenue role. You should have experience from a global, growing software company that has on-premise software revenue and SaaS. This is a remote position based in the Bay area and reports to the Head of Revenue Accounting.
**What You Will Do:**
+ **Lead Confluent's Technical Revenue & Assurance function** as one of the finance organization's subject matter experts and strategic advisor on ASC 606, setting the vision, governance, and roadmap to ensure revenue outcomes are both compliant and aligned to growth and business objectives.
+ **Own the revenue policy framework and technical positions,** author and maintain authoritative policies, memos, and contract conclusions on complex revenue arrangements; set clear interpretations that balance compliance, risk, and scalability.
+ **Structure and influence complex revenue deals** in partnership with Sales, Deal Desk, and FP&A to achieve optimal revenue outcomes and speed-to-close; serve as an escalation point for complex arrangements (SaaS, on‑prem/term licenses, consumption, multi-element bundles, modifications/renewals, variable consideration, etc.).
+ **Build, motivate, and grow a high-performing team** , continuing to develop technical acumen and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement; coach, hire, and develop talent.
+ **Partner across the product lifecycle** with Product Management, Engineering, and GTM on pricing/packaging, new product introductions, or new monetization initiatives to assess revenue recognition impacts, operational scalability, and business risk-and influence decisions that balance growth and compliance.
+ **Lead auditor engagement** , ensuring policies are consistently applied, emerging topics are addressed proactively, and SOX-compliant controls.
**What You Will Bring:**
+ BS in Finance or Accounting; CPA and Big 4 experience required
+ 10 years of progressive experience at either a Big 4 public accounting firm or a global, publicly traded high-tech organization with a minimum of 3 years in a technical revenue role
+ Strong knowledge of US GAAP, primarily revenue recognition (ASC 606) as it applies to on-premise software revenue and SaaS
+ Strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
+ Proven ability to lead change and inspire others.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written) and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels at the company

BAE Systems Electronic Systems (ES) is seeking an energy engineer to join our energy management team supporting the Eastern region properties; this technical position will report to the Energy and Utility Manager. The energy management team is part of the ES Facilities organization and is focused on driving progress towards the business's resource use reductions goals, lowering utility costs, enhancing environmental performance and embracing new technologies in the operation of the ES sectors national portfolio of buildings. The energy management team is committed to enhancing the bottom line by effectively managing energy, water and waste through design and operation of our facilities.
This is a remote position; however the selected candidate will need to reside within the Eastern region. The Eastern region consists of 17 properties encompassing 1.9M square feet of space. The Eastern region is supported by a single energy engineer who will focus on the 5 major sites within this region. The candidate selected for this position will be primarily responsible for facilities in Wayne, NJ; Endicott, NY; Greenlawn, NY; Manassas, VA and Huntsville, AL. Preference will be for candidates within the NY/NJ metro area. The successful candidate will be required to travel regularly to these locations. The Eastern Region Energy Engineer will be an active member of the team at each site, driving engagement in the energy management program at each site and driving the sites progress towards the business' resource reduction goals. The primary function of this position is to act as an energy management resource for each facility.
The Role:
* Lead engagement with site teams at the assigned sites through regular meetings; supporting the sites in identifying reduction opportunities, developing a strategy to meet resource reduction goals, establishing project measurement and verification methodology, and reviewing design documents for upcoming projects.
* Travel regularly to each site to support the site team in identifying new reduction opportunities, in conducting internal audits and in supporting external audits, in commissioning new projects and in gaining a thorough understanding of the sites operation as it relates to energy consumption. Site visits will likely be weekly to gain familiarity with the facilities and their operations.
* Develop and scope out capital improvement measures.
* Support the local facilities team in identifying opportunities to optimize the buildings, equipment and system through continuous commissioning, retro-commissioning, building automation improvements and operations and maintenance measures.
* Remotely support site team in the development of new reduction projects by conducting feasibility studies and total cost of ownership assessments, estimating energy savings, calculating return on investment estimates, developing project scopes of work, and proactively pursuing funding for new projects to ensure timely implementation.
* Identify and capture rebates and incentives associated with reduction projects.
* Make use of building management systems to optimize the buildings operations and to expand the departments insight into energy use at each site.
* Support quarterly environmental reporting through collection on utility consumption data.
* Collaborate with the energy management team in piloting new technology and building out a more comprehensive energy management program throughout the business.
* Work remotely in support of multiple facilities.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, Environmental Technology and 5-7 years of experience in the areas of commercial energy management, energy efficiency, energy auditing, and building infrastructure and systems or equivalent experience
* Strong interpersonal skills involving interfacing with both internal and external parties

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $126305 - $214718
