Jochen Thewes, born 1971, is Chairman of the Board of Management of Schenker AG since September 1, 2015. Thewes, whose roots are in the German city of Rheda-Wiedenbrück, is an internationally recognized supply chain and logistics expert, bringing more than 20 years of senior management expertise and experiences, in both regional and global positions. Over the past years Thewes has made significant contributions to DB Schenker, most notably since 2011 in his role as Chief Executive Officer in Singapore in the fast paced and most dynamic Asia/Pacific Region, where he is responsible for 13.000 employees spread across 200 locations in 20 countries. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President Global Ocean Freight, based in the Head Office in Essen/Germany.

Before joining DB Schenker, Thewes held various senior management positions within the global logistics group Kuehne + Nagel. He spent more than twelve years in different functions in Asia and Latin America such as President of the company in Brazil, General Manager for Central China in Shanghai and Chief Representative in Vietnam. He also operated in Hong Kong and New York.

Thorsten Meincke is a Chief Operating Officer Air and Ocean at DB Schenker and Member Of The Management Board/Air and Ocean at DB Schenker and is based in Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia State, Germany. He has worked as Senior Vice President Global Seafreight at Kuehne + Nagel, Sales and Logistics at Kuehne + Nagel, and SVP Global Sales & Marketing at Kuehne + Nagel. My job is Finance. I master the key aspects of the Finance Department, both in operational BU - in France and worldwide - but also in Corporate. An important feature of my career is the transformation in changing environments (restructuring, growth crisis, IT deployments, multi-cultural contexts, management of complex projects,...). Two key dimensions highlight my career: management/development of large teams and international exposure.

The Finance function is at the heart of decision making ; Finance people must position themselves as the key \'Business Partner\' towards the Executive bodies. Beyond its fundamental role as \'guardian of the temple\' (internal control, security, standards, ...), Finance people must be the key stakeholders of all strategic or commercial decision; it is the core of their activity.

To focus on high value tasks and release al of their intelligence and resources, the Finance practitioners must be able to rely on strong \'back offices \' : Shared Service Centers (SSC) and Centers of Expertise. In doing so, the Finance function is at the heart of theTransformation of organizations and processes.

Mr. Hessel Verhage serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Global Link Logistics, Inc. Mr. Verhage has been the President of Americas Freight Forwarding at UTi Worldwide Inc. since April, 2015. He served as Vice President of Global Development at AIT Worldwide Logistics, Inc. He joined UTi as Global vice president of Trade and Compliance in April 2014 and subsequently assumed the responsibility for the Americas ocean forwarding business.
