The Senior Reservoir Engineer will provide technical and strategic support to the Haynesville Development team, with responsibilities spanning prospect delineation, performance forecasting, development planning, economic evaluation, flowback optimization, production forecasting, post-well reviews, and reserves estimation. This role works cross-functionally with teams including Finance, Geoscience, Wells, Operations, and Midstream to drive value creation and deliver key business outcomes in a high-activity, multi-rig drilling program.
Key Accountabilities
Develop and maintain integrated reservoir development plans in collaboration with the Geoscience team, optimizing future well placement and identifying well interventions to maximize field value.
Lead development project AFEs and pre-spud technical reviews in coordination with Geology, Land, Drilling & Completions (D&C), Facilities, Commissioning, and Midstream teams.
Define and implement fit-for-purpose reservoir and well surveillance programs to enable performance evaluation, hydrocarbon-in-place estimation, and development optimization.
Apply rate and pressure transient analysis (RTA/PTA) to assess well performance and inform completion design and spacing strategies.
Lead technical data acquisition and subsurface evaluation efforts in collaboration with the Subsurface Technology team to improve field development strategies.
Work closely with Drilling, Completions, and Facilities teams to optimize well design and maximize asset value.
Perform economic evaluations of development scenarios and make recommendations for project execution.
Analyze and recommend action on third-party (OBO) development proposals, including decisions on participation or divestment.
Develop and guide flowback strategies to ensure new wells achieve optimal productivity.
Monitor in-year production wedge performance and conduct regular forecasting and economic assessments.
Execute post-well reviews in collaboration with Wells, Geoscience, and Operations to evaluate performance and integrate learnings into future development.
Contribute innovative ideas to the opportunity hopper and progress viable concepts through the development funnel to execution.
Support Corporate Reserves processes, including resource classification and reserve estimation.
Represent BPX in partner engagements, aligning on development strategies and influencing outcomes that enhance value.

BS in Petroleum Engineering or other Engineeringfields
A minimum of 7 years of unconventional reservoir engineering experience
Skilled with Aries, Rate Transient Analysis Softwares, and MS Office
Experience with PowerBI/Spotfire or other data visualization/analytical tools
Reservoir modeling experience is preferred (preference for CMG experience).

Verify, review and confirm all proposals and completions procedures prior to starting the job.
Provide engineering support for complex jobs (pilot tests, breaker tests, viscosity & X-link checks), perform all pre/during-job required QA/QC testing and discuss results with internal engineering team and on-site customer representative. Document results in OIF.
Present job design, proposals, specifications, pre-job lab test results and procedures to customers on job site.
Setup MDT stream-out and data acquisition software in data van to record and transmit each stage's treatment parameters to the Performance Center prior to starting a stage.
Confirm that all the chemicals needed for the job are on site and that the fleet has the BOLs for each chemical and with proper SDS.
Input sand and chemical volumes into the OIF. Manage chemical variance during job and coordinate chemical transfers between pad moves with supply chain and vendors.
Report all chemical and proppant volumes for each stage in the OIF.
Coordinate with district supply chain and vendors to verify all orders are delivered in a timely manner throughout the job.
Monitor all pump parameters, treating pressure, and rate during treatment and communicate with supervisor and customer representative if there are any problems or concerns.
Address any technical questions or concerns from customers related to reservoirs, fluid systems or software.
Monitor all internal and external deliverables from the Performance Center, ensure quality and provide feedback.

Role Summary/Purpose:
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team, specializing in advanced gas measurement systems. This role combines hands-on field service with engineering-level troubleshooting and optimization. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience) and possess deep expertise in rotary gas meters and electronic volume correctors. Candidate will serve as a technical authority for installation, calibration, and performance assurance, while collaborating with design and product teams to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Lead installation, commissioning, and calibration of rotary gas meters and electronic volume correctors at customer sites.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, including firmware updates, sensor replacements, and communication module troubleshooting.
Perform advanced field audits and compliance checks to ensure accuracy and adherence to AGA/ANSI standards.
Provide engineering-level support and training to customers and internal teams on system operation and data interpretation.
Collaborate with product engineering teams to feedback field insights for design improvements and new feature development.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including service reports and best-practice guidelines.
Support integration with SCADA systems and telemetry, ensuring reliable remote data acquisition.

Requirements & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent technical experience).
5+ years of experience in gas measurement systems, with strong knowledge of rotary meters and electronic volume correctors.

Learns the overall job functions of the Water Management and Production Testing segments in a supervised and controlled environment

As a Solids Control Field Leader, you are the on-site expert in all aspects of solids control field operations - leading by example to ensure safe, efficient, and high-performing operations for both Stage 3 and the Operator. You'll oversee and mentor a team of Solids Control Technicians and contractors, driving operational excellence while maintaining strict adherence to HSE standards, company policies, and rig site protocols.
In this pivotal role, you will:
Lead and develop Solids Control field teams through hands-on supervision, training, and performance management.
Oversee daily field operations - day and night - ensuring safety, productivity, and equipment reliability.
Collaborate closely with fellow Field Leaders, Technicians, and Trainees to deliver seamless, high-quality service.
Maintain accountability for all solids control activities in the “backyard” of assigned rig sites, ensuring full operational readiness.
Report directly to the Basin Area Manager, providing critical insight and leadership that extend beyond the rig site.
Ideal candidates bring proven technical expertise, professionalism, and patience, with the leadership skills to inspire teams and uphold Stage 3's reputation for safety and operational excellence.
Essential Functions:
Able to work 17 days on and 11 days off. (Rotation will vary by Basin).
Able to work a 12-hour shift, including overtime.
Able to oversee a team of up to 20 technicians, on a rotational schedule that will consist of day, night and possibly a swing shift.
Must be able to travel domestically to remote rig locations, in company vehicle, throughout the United States.
Will be assigned to one rig, or multiple rigs, based on business needs.
Maybe required to sit a tower on an active rig.
Ability to perform standard rig up and rig out procedures, while coaching and mentoring technicians at every level.
Will oversee a crew of technicians who operate and maintain a variety of solids control equipment including shaker tanks, centrifuge, drying equipment, and pumps.
Will have an expert level understanding of oil and gas drilling processes.
Will have expert knowledge of Environmental Services (construction, utilities).
Will be responsible for knowing how to troubleshoot electrical issues by having basic knowledge of electrical principles including currents, volts, circuits, and power.
Will oversee various solids control services such as, air drilling, barite recovery, de-watering, floc water, fluid transfers, target lo gravity solids, cuttings drying/invert recovery, etc.
Will have comprehensive understanding of drilling fluid properties including drilling fluid weight, funnel viscosity, retort analysis and will perform drilling fluid analysis.
Will oversee, and when necessary, perform routine maintenance services, and routine electrical services on various equipment.
Will oversee and mentor and coach technicians on standard operating procedure for moving cuttings from pits to trailers, by operating heavy machinery, safely and efficiently.
Must complete mentor certification program aiding in the ability to handle a variety of personality issues appropriately.
Will perform rig audits.
Will pick up and deliver necessary equipment to rig site(s), as required.
Will make grocery runs with/for your technicians, as required.
Must maintain a clean and orderly “backyard” and employee housing.
Will audit daily PJRA/JSA, inspection reports, observation reports, and checklists, daily and as required.
Will oversee PPE/FR's protocols for staff working in the backyard.
Will lead by example, all safety protocols.
Will be required to work in the shop on crossover days or as otherwise directed.
Will send weekly updates to Area Leaders, summarizing staff activity (concerns).

Prior Forklift, Excavator, or Wheel Loader experience, or Certifications, is required. Re-Certification training will be provided prior to working.

Must have a valid State driver's license, valid insurance, and acceptable driving record.

* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
* General computer literacy.
* Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.

LOCATION: HOUSTON
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate personnel crew changes and studies client and well site needs to ensure that client objectives are met by matching engineers to appropriate projects.
Ensure that all drilling fluids engineers have the appropriate testing equipment and interacts with IT
to ensure field needs are timely addressed.
Provide training and mentorship to drilling fluids engineers regarding documentation of testing and inventory and remains abreast of training and development required to maintain state-of-the art engineering techniques and practices.
Ensure that drilling fluid engineers have proper well file and drilling fluid program information.
Provide expert assistance to drilling fluids engineers to resolve problems, address concerns, and answer questions, when and as required.
Provide technical assistance to account and sales managers to ensure proper drilling fluids
engineering practices are implemented and to support existing and prospective business development and sales activities.
Participate in various important AES sales and business development activities, including researching, creating, and providing presentations for customers and prospective customers.
Research well history and characteristics, reviews customer objectives, and utilizes engineering expertise to compile appropriate and effective project-specific drilling fluids engineering programs.
Track, compile, enter, and review field service tickets and consultant time records.
Assist Engineering Manager with Drilling Fluids Engineer tracking and invoicing.
Identify, recruit, and, if necessary interview qualified drilling fluid engineer candidates.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Petroleum Engineering or Chemistry, or closely related. Requires successful completion of an AES-approved mud school or 5 years of drilling fluids engineering work. Also requires certification in drilling fluids technology.
