Job Responsibilities:
Provide engineering support on geotechnical projects during the exploration, design, and construction phases.
Planning, performing, and overseeing subsurface investigation and testing programs.
Preparing and/or reviewing field test logs and geological/engineering reports.
Survey interpretation, calculation of quantities, and creation of various other supportive drawings and graphics.
Development of geotechnical reports and specifications.
Performing geological and geotechnical engineering analysis.
Proposal development.
Perform and oversee construction observation of specialty geotechnical works and foundation construction.
Must be willing to travel; some overnight and out-of-town travel should be expected.
Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's degree focused in civil engineering, from an ABET-accredited institution.
3+ years of relevant work experience.
EIT certification.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Master's degree in geotechnical engineering
